Here's an idea, it might have something to do with the senses. Just an idea. Chicago is having it's annual Taste of Chicago. Any similar events anywhere else?

Maybe the location will involve with ice. Ice rinks?

If so, I've got Seattle covered. Conveniently, I happen to be a figure skater.

The bite of Oregon (taking place in portland) isn't until August so thats a negatory on that. The Taste of Portland Farmers Market doesn't start until July 5th... Still looking though.

There IS a skating rink for Ice and regular roller rinking in Portland proper... so I'll keep those two locations in mind, the ice skating rink is directly on the max line so very easy to get to.... good thoughts!

I am really curious to see what this could be for. I know people are saying its for 5gum but this seems like a lot for just gum. I am thinking that there are going to be some puzzles after the drops. Should be interesting.

Dallas has very few ice skating rinks and they're generally located way out of the way in the suburbs.
Actually, that brings to mind a question! For those of you who've done this sort of thing, when they say a city name, do they mean it's going to specifically be in that city? Dallas is this huge amalgamation of suburbs and suburbs-of-suburbs and it's actually kind of hard to define Dallas proper, so I'm trying to wrack my brain to come up with where the drop is likely to be...
I think the millenium thing is likely a red herring, and there's no "Taste of Dallas" that I can think of (just ones for specific suburbs) ...
I would so love to be helpful, but I can't think of anything!

Sorry for the long post... this is probably nothing, but thought I'd post it here anyways.

So, I was playing around with the evaluation video to see how different answers produce different results. Not sure if any of this is relevant, but I found a rather predictable pattern:
I decided to do a controlled experiment in order to determine which color/s and points corresponded with which sense/s. I started by answering the left option on all questions, and this was the resulting sense print:
Another attempt - choosing all of the options on the right - produced this sense print:
From there, I took the test five more times - answering one only question on the left, and the rest on the right - in the order that the questions were asked, to determine which answers correlated to which point/s on the pentagon.
The answers correspond to the points between each colored section, so the results have two colors for each. Here's what I found:
Question 1: SOUND (Intense / Compassionate) - Blue / Yellow
Question 2: SIGHT (Serenity / Bewilderment) - Yellow / Red
Question 3: TASTE (Suspicious / Euphoric) - Red / Teal
Question 4: SMELL (Enthusiasm / Loneliness) - Teal / Green
Question 5: TOUCH (Anxious / Inspired) - Green / Blue
Another interesting result:
My computer froze mid-way through the test, and recorded my remaining questions as having no answer. I ended up with this weird print:
I tried it again, not answering any of the questions, and got this:
I probably just wasted 20 mins doing this, but I figure it doesn't hurt to explore all potential leads. Are they looking for a specific pattern that identifies a subject as volunteer material? Are the colors significant? Could they help us identify important clues on the ground? Who knows... I'm just taking a shot in the dark here.

thanks for putting in the spec tag and not just deleting it, I am a bit of a noob, so I did not think that there would be a tag, won't happen again.

Not a problem, there are a few common tags we tend to use at uf and [SPEC] is one of them. Just helps to promote discussion while identifying what's ingame informational and what's general chatter

Just something me and my mother noticed when looking at The Mission Icefly video .
When you pause it on the part where Terry O' Quinn come up and is blured, if you look closely at the "blur boxes" they are images that repeat and some of them really look to have a shapes in them. Some of the shapes are arrows and even people!

Staring at one of these blur boxes, I can vouch that one set looks like Dexter from Dexter's Lab . Give me a second and I can throw up a still of the screen I happened to get, let others see if they see something else.
EDIT: Here we go.
I have to apologize right off the bat for the awful quality- I have to use MS Paint at the moment.
But anyways, I circled the three frames where I (reasonably) could see Dexter in. The top left circle is two of the same frame, but his face shape and glasses popped out at me immediately. The other circle contains the frame I saw only after looking closer, but his stylized glasses are still visible. Or it's what I see, anyways.
Anyone else see anything really different? I don't want to draw out red herrings due to the power of suggestion. XD
My opinion- they used some random footage of various cartoons, commercials, and shows that are either in the public domain or cheap to use in order to make that visual static. Possible link to Wrigley's/5 Gum and/or Hanna-Barbera/Cartoon Network/Turner Broadcasting? Or maybe just artistic license and a(n arguably) cool Easter egg.
