I found this by misspelling 'everyman hybrid' and 'tall man'

Seems pretty cool I guess?

Silly Slendermanfan111, Slendy doesn't have hands.

Anyway, that probably would have been more appropriate over in the Slender Man Mythos board

I second this. I think sometimes people here get a little too carried away with theories, because this isn't the only time people have "definitely heard" voices where I hear only static.

Despite Alex's mumbling I do believe he says "Her roommate" when Jay asks who he is calling. This establishes that Jessica and Amy live together. But, this doesn't confirm that Jay has ever met Jessica, so when she says that she thinks Jay's name sounds familiar (Entry 2Cool it still leaves me wondering how she knows his name? Maybe Alex has talked about Jay to Jessica?

It's not unheard of for friends to mention other friends. We know Jessica lived with Alex's girlfriend, so it's not impossible for him to have said, "Oh, once my friend Jay and I...".

There's one thing that irks me about the way things are unfolding: the time between when Jay received the tape from Alex in Entry 26 was 19 days. Jay follows the address to the house that Slendy built and Timasky pops up for the grand reveal. More misadventures with our 2 main characters continue.

This is where my problem with it all comes in: Alex goes to the house he escaped from, knocks on the door, calls and asks Jessica if Amy was there, they decide to try finding her...why would he be doing this NOW when we're talking a good month or so since her initial disappearance?

Alex clearly didn't go into a coma like Jay so it's not that, he sent the tape the day it all went down and greeted him on the 18th; he's been conscious the entire time.

Maybe the Alex we saw was being evil proxy Imma-lure-you-into-this-trap Alex?

Also, did it sound like someone was screaming, at the end of the distortion bit when it (distortion) suddenly got louder when he started walking towards Slendy? I'd give you all a time, except it's 12:30 here and I really need sleep I won't be getting if I rewatch #43.

Unfortunately this is all baseless speculation, but is it possible that Alex, realizing that The Operator had returned and that Amy had disappeared and that he needed help, was in the process of getting in touch with Jay when he realized that Jay was being stalked by our favourite Sideburns-loving Masky? This would have prevented him from directly contacting Jay, forcing him to wait the 19 days.

(This still doesn't account, of course, for how Alex knew to get in touch with Jay in the first place if, presumably, he had divorced himself from the situation and knew nothing about Jay's Youtube posts.)

Alternatively, Alex is simply a mistrustful bastard and was staking out the abandoned house, knowing Jay would eventually show up there but not knowing if Jay could be trusted, and fortuitously glimpsed Tim/Masky skulking about? (There must be some explanation for Alex being able to point out Tim/Masky's location to Jay at the return address.)

The point of all of this nonsense being that:

Alex didn't feel comfortable making a move right away and required Jay's help/presence for some reason. So, he simply waited the two weeks it took for Jay to receive the package and go to the return address. He played a lot of XBox during this time, I imagine. And pined for his (dead) girlfriend, of course.

Two things: Two weeks to post? What, Alex couldn't afford to FedEx it overnight? Cheapass.

I know that if I were pining for my girlfriend the only thing that could console me is some GTA, or maybe some Call of Duty. For sure. Maybe Alex just needed to mourn.

But seriously -- we don't know when exactly Alex woke up from the window-jumping incident. We're taking for granted that he was conscious (mentally) when he sent J the tape. Maybe he did it before he "awoke". Obviously J was capable of checking into a hotel and doing god-knows-what while he was in his 7-month trance. Maybe Alex woke two days before he was suposed to meet J, with a note that said "be here on this day" that led him to where he stumbled upon J. Alex seems consistently fairly unflappable. He sort of takes all of this nonsense in stride. He gets cranky and snippy, but he doesn't scream like a loony or refuse to participate in furthering the madeness. He just -- much like the Dude -- abides it as best he can. When J accuses him of sending the tape, maybe Alex in his typical secretive way just covers by saying "you weren't exactly hard to find". As I recall the exact exchange seemed a little like he was deflecting or obscuring in a way -- not answering exactly the question J posed him in the moment.

I really hope against hope that this whole thing eventually ends up wrapped up in a pretty little package and that we get answers to all of the things we wonder about, and that all of the various clues and whatnot can be pointed out to us -- and that things aren't just "left to interpretation" or something nuts like that. Razz That'd suck I think.

EDIT: to fix the cocked up quote code. it's 4am. be nice to me.

I don't know if anyone noticed this, but when Alex is approaching The Operator in his zombie-trance, did anyone else remember enttry 37?

As Alex approaches the Operator here, everything goes negative, and his suit turns white, along with the rest of him. I was immediately reminded of Operator's 'white suited' appearance in 37.

Probably just distortion, but perhaps it's The Operator "reminding" Alex of the way he saw him all those years ago? *is almost asleep. Forgive me if it sounds shoddy.*

I dunno. XD It was just interesting to me.

Actually I was put in mind of enttry 37 as well, when this happened. My reaction was less that it was an Operator choice though, and more, "Wow, way to throw back to a few entries ago, creators! Well done!" But yeah, the similarity definitely stood out to me.

I personally had a good chuckle out of entry #43.

Alex: "I think it's best if You don't know where I live."
J: "Why?"
Alex: "... oO(In the woods. Where I return every evening to snuggle with slendy.)"

...seems to be? =]

Another awesome entry. I especially liked (for once!) the distortion when Alex hit the ground when seeing Slendy. I agree with the posters that Slendy appears to have more facial features in this one which I have to assume is done on purpose.

Alex's constant PMS mood is hard to decipher, but I have to believe he is just annoyed with the entire situation. J is pretty useless. The connection with Jessica obviously is the biggest thing we learn, so we have to wonder if Jessica and J are in the side boat of Slendy's haunting.

I think to move this series forward we need some time of explanation from Alex why he is being haunted by Slendy.

It's true that we don't know exactly when Alex woke from his most recent Operator Adventure in his apartment (although nothing about the way Alex phrases it seems to indicate an abnormally long period of time), and since we have no clear idea as of yet what it means for a person to lose their memories, I'm not entirely unwilling to concede that an individual might do things during these blackout periods that they wouldn't do otherwise and (obviously) wouldn't remember later - except that Alex clearly /does/ know what's on the tape he sent Jay. ("You saw what was on the tape I sent you!") Either that or Alex is much more deceptive than we've thought all along, to the point where he's shooting himself in the foot by refusing to confide anything in anyone. But seeing as there's no real IG indication that Alex is lying about what would amount to basically everything all of the time, I have to assume this isn't the case.

As for Jay being in a 7-month trance, that's sort of the opposite of Occam's Razor, where in attempting to answer one simple question ("Why didn't Jay post any Entries during the 7-month period, before he lost his memories?") you accept the answer that generates as many convoluted questions as possible.

First post! Frequent lurker in the meme, but never felt the need to do anything other than read.

Until MH entry 43.

*shudder*

Anyway, I just wanted to give a few thoughts I have after this.

In regards to Slendy acquiring a face, I honestly do believe this aspect of his appearance is intentional. However, I don't think that the reason is so much tied into the plot as it is to aesthetics- I know many are citing the guys in an old interview, and while keeping that in mind, I am thinking perhaps that, in this new HD filming, they may have wanted to clear up some of Slendy's features. Of course, I don't want to discount the possibility of it having a deeper meaning, so we'll see what happens next.

Chronologically, I am not sure, but I've been wondering if this takes place AFTER rather than BEFORE entry 38... if this might be the last time Jay sees Alex in the 7-month period and something is about to happen to Jay that explains this extended memory loss before he finds himself in the hotel.

Also, I am definitely onboard with the theory of multiple TTAs. Despite the introduction of Blasky, because of TiMasky's re-appearance in Entry #33, I am thinking of some sort of masky-collaboration. And I've been wondering about the theory of the ark being Alex (Alex R. Kralie) and the mission of TTA (or at least TiMasky, who I believe has been or collaborates with TTA) being the elimination OF Alex, who, if he is the one Slendy wants, they may believe is maintaining The Operator stalking around in their world.

I don't know, this is just totally off the top of my head and has no real basis. But yeah, feel free to disprove entirely! I am always interested in new MH-related ideas, and I am just throwing things around, really.
