...you use the names Alex Kralie, Jay, Brian, Jessica, Tim, etc. as the main characters in a short story.

I've done this for an English class once.

In my ARG-ish thing (link in signature), one of the videos mentions a character named Tim Noahs. Guess who inspired that name? :>

You should be fine. On a completely unrelated topic, mind strapping a camcorder to your chest, finding that guy again, and giving him a hug?

Anyway, if you find yourself closing your eyes when you walk down the hall at night so that you can't see the LEDs on electronics, and thus can't see anything step in front of them, you might be a redne... you might watch too much Marble Hornets.

I think I will. He looked lonely. Oh, and you may watch too much Marble Hornets if you insist on looking at your film student friend's crappy movie.

I did. Right there on the stairs. It was late at night (right about now, actually) which is the time I come home from school. My boyfriend is asleep, the whole house is dark and quiet -- and I come upstairs to hit the laptop and do some SlenderSaga board trolling and BOOM! Tiny Slendy shadow on my wall, despite the kind, warm, loving glow of my nightlight. SO UNFAIR. I paused mid-step up the stairs and almost screamed (like the wussy, wussy girl that I am) and ran back down them.

Instead I sacked-up and forced myself to be a grown-up and figure out what was making the shadow -- or at least go to the top of the stairs and give that Borrower-sized Slendy a what-for -- and then I saw it was Napoleon and realized I needed to take pics and tell everyone I'm a moron. Embarassed

Funny, I did pretty much the exact same thing, only with their OOG names.

...Strangely, her boyfriend was frequented by a masked woman calling herself ToLeCity who left coded messages around his house.

But anyway, you watch/read too much MH/Slendy-blogs when you're conflicted whether you should share the awesomeness of Slendy with friends, or try to prevent them from finding out about him to protect them.

Haha! I can see it now: "I need you to take me... to the city." >.> "Clean more!" Shocked

Please. He can NEVER find out or watch this stuff. He'll start doing things to torture me further -- it's already terrible enough I can't turn all of the lights out at night before I go to bed. He really did buy the nightlight for me for my birthday to help. Embarassed

I think a Borrower-sized Slendy wouldn't be -sooo- bad. He would only make you like... sneeze instead of cough and fall over. Mild allergies sort of stuff instead of paralyzing cough. Though don't let him too close to your DVR or you'll never get that episode of Big Bang Theory recorded -- not to mention he makes your cable all fuzzy and wonky anyhow. But strangely -- no rodents or bugs or spiders. (Though he does somehow seem to get along strangely with your cat.) And you'd occasionally forget things -- like where you put your keys or the remote.

Hey now... that gives me an idea... Wink

Pocket Slendy! Scare your friends! Be the life of the party! Be the most popular kid around the campfire during ghost stories! Now comes with longer tentacle arms and NEW AND IMPROVED FACIAL FEATURE IMPRESSIONS. (We think he may have absorbed your cat, though. Confused ) Coming soon: Pocket J, with his mini-cam, sweet hat, and pajama jeans (because who needs pj's when you can sleep in your CLOTHES!?)! (The special edition J comes with all of that PLUS an idiot ball for him to keep himself busy with.)

I'm a friggin' marketing GENIUS. It's okay. I don't have to see your faces to know you're impressed. Cool

Oh god, I lol'd too hard.

Troseph may be working hard to make Jay a more human character, but they're sure not making him intelligent.

You know you watch too much MH when you have to spend an extra five minutes checking out backgrounds just to make sure Slendy isn't going to interrupt your psychology exam...

And you come up the stairs late one night, to see THIS:

You know, something like this happened to me recently. I was turning out the lights in the house before retiring for the evening. My last stop is always the front door (to check that it is locked). The front door has one of those half-arc windows at the very top, at the seven-foot level. Since watching MH, I've constantly been suppressing my imagination of looking up and seeing a Slendy face peering in (like in Entry #6). Doesn't help that the window is textured to make it difficult to actually see clearly out of it. You just see blobs and blurs.

So yeah, one night while alone in the house, I look up and there's a long, blurry, white shape smack in the middle of the window. My heart just about leaped out of my chest, even while my brain was yelling "IT'S NOT REAL, ITS THE WRONG SHAPE! RECTANGLE: NOT FACE".

So yeah. It was a piece of paper taped to my outside window telling us that some charity was going to paint house numbers on the curb. Fucking charities.

When you get creeped out listening to Aphex Twin at night in a poorly lit room. Also, I thought I was a big girl, but after that last entry, I have gone back to clicking all the lights on before it gets dark. *hangs head in shame*

This used to freak me out way before I started watching Marble Hornets. Rolling Eyes

A) love your avatar and B) I did every once in a while, but it creeps me out far more now.
