What is the significance of the red tower? It's piqued my interest due to the fact that Jay woke up there after the Tweetpocolypse.

For me it all boils down to one question.

What is the Operators purpose at all?

I for one do not believe that TTA or Masky or anyone has any true insight into why the Operator appeared to this crew and tormented them in the first place.

what is Tim's connection to the Operator?(he showed Slendy sickness chronologically before Alex.)
What are Masky's motives?

I have a question, what is with that hotel? Both Jay and Jessica mention seeing no other guests there. I feel like there must be someone you can ask about that, be it any staff you see, or the authorities - unless the cops are on Slendy's payroll like he's a mob boss.

Knowing that Jay almost certainly met Jessica at some point during the seven months, she probably became very important, so much that they stuck together from hotel to hotel, where at that one, they got blanked.
Something also happened that disposed of the other residents, however, that could've been a 'side-effect' of the memory blanking.

The 'not asking anyone' part is a bit of a plothole, but it's justifiable.
