I have it bookmarked now, thanks, that should make things easier. I think I will log in as well when the countdown ends, just so I can recieve the information, even though I won't be in the city.

Recommendations for first-timers: (please add to this, anyone else) it depends on how complex they're going with this, but better to be prepared. If you're doing ground duty, phone set up for GPS mapping is a huge help. If you don't have a QR scanner on your phone, install one. Bring a laptop too if you have one, faster than a phone if you can get wifi. Buy a flashlight-sized blacklight if you don't have one. Might want to bring a multitool/scissors, can't go wrong with having tools (getting envelope open in a BIG hurry, maybe? heh). Backpack with some snacks and water/caffeine is good. If we don't have info beforehand about where to be, pick a central location, preferably a cafe with wifi to wait.
For net support, a local person who can be on Mapquest/Google duty is great.
Since we're on the subject of tools, here's some suggestions for our groundtroops who haven't done this before.

Alright, I can't wait! We'll be there around 3:20. Uh, could someone PM me their phone number so I could text them when we arrive? We'll have two computers, one of those code-scanners, and my phone (which doubles as a video recorder of sorts). We don't have much food or money, even if we bring some chips and cereal. We need to get home around 8:00-8:30, and I'll have someone taking us home. We'll do whatever we can to help, and I'd love to find the package, or whatever it happens to be! I'm a girl (about 5'3"), wearing pink shorts. Can't wait to meet you guys there! I hope we can help in some way. c:

All that's going on now is distorted video and sound, there are pentagons (30) and a list for the 15 cities...
EDIT: they are releasing pdf files two at a time, they contain coordinates and a picture of the place where the black envelope will be hidden. I'll post ours when it's up, and email it to everyone who gave me their information.

It looks like they're releasing the cities two an hour, hopefully we will be next, Sunny you will have to take over eventually, I'll have to leave. But the global lat/long in the tools helps when trying to find the location, one has already been found, still waiting to hear which one it was.

Neither do I, but you can relay the information to our field operatives. Just give them the coordinates and a place to go. I'm not gone yet, ill let you know.

It appears that the envelopes contain a key with a location to go, the orlando location says fortress, according to someone else.
Also I will be emailing everyone who gave me their address the coordinates and any other location information, including the pdf file with the picture in it.

We're already here in Little 5 Points, and at a coffee place called "Village Coffee House". Where exactly are we meeting? There's free wi-fi here. And we have chips! Well, if that matters in the slightest. When Atlanta's PDF is released, should someone upload it? My phone number is 404-431-8155, even if that's a tad stupid to put online. Text us if you want/need to. Uhm, that's about it![/i]
