To whoever put the site in the links for the Slender Man Wikipedia page, please don't. I don't want it listed on there until it's complete, because in it's current state it won't meet Wikipedia's standards. When it's done, maybe, but for now, please don't. I already tried to make this clear on the Slender nation thread, so just reiterating it here.

First up, amazing job with the site. Seriously. I love the Mythos and watching that 'previews' page let me share the Mythos with my friends much easier, inspired me to watch TJAprojects and finish the Andersen Journals, and get back into the other facets of the Mythos aside from the InnerCircle ARG, ha.
One thing though, on the 'previews' page, EverymanHYBRID is spelt as EverymanHYRBID.

At the very least, Phenom, sign in if you're going to make edits.

My Grammar Nazi senses are tingling... Would it be rude to point out typos? ;;

I have to say, I'm loving this site. ;w;

Ditto on all the compliments to this site. This is very well done and will make it much easier to introduce victims friends to the mythos. Smile

Yeah, I just linked my cousin to it on Faceboook. I watched MH season 1 on DVD with her and my other cousin, but they won't watch season 2. xD Too scared.
Hopefully this gets her to watch some, lolol. >:3

Zaber, this is actually really good. I agree that it might not be at the standard you want it to be yet, but for now it's very good looking.

For the blog/vlog hubs, are you planning on having brief summaries on what the piece is about? And for the blogs/secondary vlogs, how are you planning on dividing them up? - that's going to be a helluva job to make them seem organized. Plus you can't really just do the simple solution and make an A-Z list down the page of the specific blog links, so many of them have multiple websites alla Seeking Truth and the Mystic, which probably wouldn't do to be separated. Or are you going to organize them around thematic links, like put all of Core Theory in one bloc...? I suppose a good starting point would be using Chasechan's amazing list, but...Well, good luck, I reckon it'll still be a tough job. XD

I love the preview tab. I think I might go through that myself, but from a quick scan of the titles, it looks like it really showcases the vlogs quite fantastically.

...Great job. I'm trying to find something constructive to bitch about, but it can all be put down to the fact it's in the alpha stage and, possibly shouldn't have been released to this particular public yet. I'm interested for things to come. Very Happy

By all means everyone, please point out spelling and grammar errors so I can correct them in the next update. That would be a serious help.

It was only linked on the Slender Nation thread, but there's also a Facebook page for the mythos I made with the Wix tools.

http://www.facebook.com/SlenderManMythos

Great for spreading it around. Very Happy Plus, slender videos in your feed as soon as I find out about them.

... OKAY, I went through the FAQ page the other day, and so here is what I found.

Quote:
"...as part of a Photoshop constest in June of 2009..."

Quote:
"The malevelent entity became the antagonist of a series of horror stories."

Quote:
"With no certainty as to wether the story in the videos was fictional or not..."

Quote:
"The first blog based story begain in July..."

Quote:
"Amongst the creators, approximately 75 mythos writiers cooperate, collaborate, and peer review eachother's work..."

Quote:
"In a few instances, it may be necessary to read 2-3 blogs concurrently if they're plots..."

Quote:
"Crossover events occur often in blogs, but are usually short, self-containted..."

I hope this helps! ;A; I'll try doing more, later.

But my friend Raine says that Agents was spelled wrong on The Outside Agents (I believe that would be the page with the ten sample videos from ten vlogs), too.

Oh, honey.

He makes a good point, though, what is considered secondary and what is considered primary? I'd be of the opinion that MyDarkJournal is not followed by enough people to be considered 'primary'...

But I'm also fairly sure that by 'secondary hub' he just means 'ones which I will think of as I go along', so don't worry. Very Happy

I like this site. Oh, and the Creator's Hub picture, under Get Started, just blew my mind. I'm not gonna link in since we here (most of us) are big enough boys to go find it ourselves. But seriously. Holy piss.

Thus fair I determined primary/secondary on the basis of subscriber count, most popular to the left and descending to the right. I'm also relegating defunct/abandoned series (such as Jonclubs, WesternHalo, things like that) to secondary. I may be changing the formula in later versions and perhaps series will move around as their popularity grows and outpaces others.

@Brochacho - Thanks, I'll tackle those the next time I go in editing. I suck at monitoring my own stuff, since it's just tough to find things in your own writing.

Barring getting called into work, there will be some edit time for the site tomorrow. Possibly an alpha build of the blog-hub for you to have a look at. Which reminds me...

@SolDL - As far as the blog hub goes... I'm thinking of the following tabs right now...

Verses - Interconnected blogs from the same author(s) that share a continuity. Examples would be "Seeking Truth/Mystic" and "Dreams in Darkness/MaleOrderMan/DejaVuDreamer" and other such combo blogs like that.

Core Theory - Explain the main elements of core theory and list the blogs involved. Will include a link to ORIGINAL White Elephants as soon as Andy over at Slenderbloggins puts it up.

Generation Tabs - The informative blogs like Slenderbloggins and Slendaria, as well as discussion on Slender Nation, has divided the blogosphere into "generations" based on thematic differences which reflect changes to the mythos over time. I like this system and hope to implement it to sort the blogs here. For example:

- Gen 1 - Just Another Fool, In My Head in My Mind, Lost Time...
- Gen 2 - The Tutorial, Icthyological, Something Awful, (Seeking Truth and DiD except they're in "verses")
- Gen 3 - Most of the Core Theory Stuff and blogs with connectivity focues
- Gen 4 - More modern blogs like London Librarian, O&T, Etctera

I can link the Slender Nation thread with the generations discussion if anyone is curious.

TL;DR - I'm working on it. I've got a plan. I need only time.

It's nice, but please please remove "this site is under construction" That's a horrible website phrase from the amateur internet of the 90s. If you really feel the need to tell everyone that the site is not operating at 100% (and I don't think you do), then say something like: "This site is a work in progress which will be updated as new information comes to light"
