Yes lordofmorgul you can resubmit! (as far as we know)
Demonstrate your skills at an axon phone before the end of the day, and don't forget to salute.

l0rd0fm0rgul, YES! get to another payphone and comply your picture. she WILL still take it. My question is, since cell phones are now considered unsecure after the one accepted earlier, what about current crew members receiving calls on cell phones? I guess the simple answer is we all need to get out and find any payphone.

She resonded to my message in less than 15 minutes.

Help!

Okay, I am confused on what to do! Here's the deal.

I want to get melissa to call my phone number to add it to the list axons of course so I can enter the game (no axons have been around here).

What exactly do i need to do? Because I see pics of people doing stuff, but no visual evidence of the # and in the emails, they aren't giving the coordinates, and stuff she asks for?

So, if I want to get my number added to her list what's the process exactly? Plus, her mailbox is full now! just great.

Hrm... it has been about 15 minutes.... Should I try again?

Oh, also, has anyone gotten to the voicemail lately? I keep calling but it rings endlessly...

[Edit] I'm trying to get my name on the crew list. [/Edit]

The pictures are of crew members performing thier duties. If you want to create an axon at your location take a picture with the payphone & number in view, then send it in.

Visual evidence insufficient. Axon not in range.

You have until the end of the broadcast day to comply. Do not disappoint me.

does this mean she will still accept one if i send her one later today, even though it wasnt at an axon when it happened, or it wasnt live? if anyone knows, let me know. I might have time to get something together by midnight (but im in school for like 3 more hours and then i start at a new job tonight, so it might be tough, but i can make it work if i have to). someone let me know if they have any answers. thx

"Axon not in range" most likely means the phone wasn't in the picture.

Can we just choose which activity we do?

I have a wetsuit (for the scuba) and maybe flippers, but I won't be able to get them until after work (around 15:30 PDT). To the axon is another half hour. Should I bother, or is someone else going to do it first?

kali, there is no way Melissa knows what each axon looks like. If you are going to do scuba, get your gear and take a pic at any payphone.

Here's the proof:
Quote:
Visual proof of crew members mustering at ANY axon ANYWHERE and displaying their skills must be sent through the Killer's comm channel.

Also, I think we only have TODAY to submit the pics. So they all have to be in before the last axon of the day.

Point taken about any payphone, but I might as well go to my axon since I was already planning on being there. Plus, I don't have a digi cam, so I'll be using Phaedra's. My only concern is going all the way home to get the gear only to discover that someone else decided to be the lone scuba diver first.

But that's not to say anyone who wants to or definitely can get together their own gear shouldn't. I'm pretty sure I know where my scuba suit is, but I just moved about a year ago and I don't know exactly where it is.

So, if anyone else can do scuba and/or has a more entertaining way of doing it (all I'm going to do is stand on a street corner in a half-length wet suit looking very foolish to all passersby), pm either me or Phaedra before 16:00 PDT

Stranded crew wishing to add new axons and themselves to the crew list must send Melissa a message with location etc info for the phone and a PICTURE OF THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE PAYPHONE. (I assume this is to avoid trolls who would send in their teacher's phone number.) Identify yourself and include a picture of yourself at the phone doing something crew-like. Don't forget to salute. That may be all it takes. And you may get the phone added as an axon next week so choose wisely!

And bring a friend in the pics. Melissa is adding people we recruit off the street into the rank and file category.

Team Double Barrel at Axon 1107 PDT

Here are the pictures from the 1107 Axon:

From left to right: Clayfoot (that's me), Nuke, and Robogriff

Nuke looks kinda shifty, doesn't he? As you can see from the surveillance video, we took him down.

Update: Email reply from the Operator.
Quote:
Outstanding work pursuing the suspect.
As usual, your crew's performance is impressive.
Excellent evidence, soldier.

Pictures

Okay, disregard my above. I sent her a pretty poor-quality picture that I had the mailwoman snap of me, and then took to Walgreens to have it digitalized, reducing the quality even further. I sent it to her with an email apologizing for the poor quality and promising a better one (I'm sending Kali to Walgreens, or possibly going myself, and buying a disposable digital camera.)

She replied with the following:

Quote:
Phaedra,
Impressive evidence.
You have shown great initiative in your organization.
Your efforts are not superfluous. You work will be rewarded in the future.
I trust that I will be able to depend on you when our most important
mission is underway.

I'm tickled.

But anyway, no need for me to phone in a picture to someone who can convert it.

But thank you anyway to the people who offered to help.
