Hey Feldheim, thanks for being apart of the ground team! I was so glad to have you there!
Do you have the ability to record the Ice Fly, If you could shoot a video of it for about 5 minutes while it's on and send it to me via e-mail

The next step for me requires this, and I don't think we can really move forward without this information. Other peoples iceflies don't work.
Let me know when you can/if you can

RipCity Rumblers Mission Report (Justish) Double Post... Sorry
-----------------
BEGIN MISSION SUMMARY
The Ripcity Rumblers were in position at the Pioneer Square Starbucks from 11:00am Pacific until 5:00pm when the site linked to our 1st location;
The New Cascadia Bakery. I'd been there before (They are an awesome Gluten Free Bakery in P-town) and had a rough knowledge of how to get there. Luckily one of our other operatives (Feldheim) lived right near it and actually knew a faster way!
We hopped on the Bus 10 from the Bus Mall area and crossed the Morrison Bridge (I think... I know it wasn't Hawthorne...) and got off at the stop on 6th and that street. Market was 3 blocks down from that and we made a mad sprint for the front of the Bakery.
With four people looking it took us mere moments to find the BLACK paper envelope with the words "Confidential" on it. I was the one who located the envelope right where Fuzzy and the Oracles said it might be; in the small brick nook beside the engraved metal door.
When we opened the envelope we were given specific instructions to text a password to a number and receive the next location. The instructions very clearly said to not share the key word. I texted the MIF people with my volunteer name and the key word and awaited sensory profile verification.
When my profile was verified I was given an address; 1945 SE Water Ave.
The only thing I can remember being on Water Ave is OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) but I kept that to myself and instead started our team walking back west towards Water Ave (Water Ave is about 4 streets West of SE 6th) Then one of my team remembered that those numbers are ACTUALLY OMSI's address! So we dashed forward to OMSI as quick as we could, we had to cross 2 major streets with no crosswalk so we got a bit ancy waiting for traffic that wouldn't let us by!
When we arrived in OMSI we did a quick search of the front pavillion perimeter and then went directly inside, straight to the front desk and I said;
"Hi, I am mission ice fly volunteer justish, do you have a package for me?"
I got blank faces from them, the shop counter and the general floor manager. So we went back outside (this time to the back) and did a quick pan of the area.
I should note that OMSI is kinda it's own little world. There is the big building in the middle, parking lot on one side and around the entire thing is a walk way and little park benches. On the back side is a Esplanade that overlooks the Columbia River and the USS Blueback (Submarine) there. Its a big space. My team was starting to get frustrated, and Seattle had found their 2nd piece moments earlier.
MIF texted me again to make sure I was on my way, I texted that I could not locate the package and asked if it was in a specific area on the property. They confirmed "Under a bench" and "The Espalande" so we split into two teams, myself and Roscoe on one end and Feldheim and Mack on the other - he had the key, but I had to be there for it to be opened.
Roscoe and I found the box first and he ran to get the team. Our Human Preservation Project controller took my picture as I opened the box and revealed the Ice Fly (being VERY) gentle with it!
I took pictures of EVERYTHING. And when all was said and done we agreed to share all the goodies, so everyone got something in our Team. We went back into OMSI and sat in a back corner to turn on the IceFly and watch it light up... Then we all parted ways... it was a great mission!
END MISSION SUMMARY

If I remeember correctly, during the TDK ARG something similar happened with the "letters". You might state what that letter is. I'll be the other locations have different letters and they spell out something.
"....but I've been known to be wrong before."

I was glad I and my knowledge of the layout of portland's public transit were of some help.
As far as recording the icefly goes, it takes a long time once it's plugged in before it starts flashing, but it does flash morse code. One of my fellow Goons wrote it down and this is what they got.

So, what have I learned?
I suck at writing down morse code, and I suck at noticing patterns. If I have time, I'll reset it again, and have a video camera ready to capture it all, to upload it.
However, from what I transposed, and translated , here's what I got:
Code:
RVIVALCODE.COMSURVIVALCODE.COMDURVIVALCODT.FOMSURVIVALCODECFOMSURVIVALCODE.GOMSURVNVA?CODT.COMSURVI?A?CODE.?OMSURVIVALCODE.COMLURVIVA?CODE.COMSURVEVALCODE.COM
Look familiar?
survivalcode.com
Looks like the text at the end of the video was a failsafe for any of us with the icefly not figuring out it does morse code and translating it.
I will plug it in tomorrow morning and see if something different comes up.
Edit: also, the Portland icefly seems to be a lot more teal than the other ones found... interesting...
Also edit: The PDX Icefly gives off the same morse code.
