[SPEC] Theories
Is it halo? Or Something else? Or just dumb old gum?

Figured instead of that halo 4 thread, or the trailhead, you should argue here.

Hope it helps.

Destiny

The recent email from TSN mentions: "15 chances to intersect with destiny..."
And the 5Gum advert has letters in bold that spell out Destiny.

I'm just pointing out the interesting coincidence that Bungie* is rumored to be working on a project with the codename "Destiny".

*I fully acknowledge that Bungie has already gone "on record" by denying any knowledge of TSN.com. Again, just making an observation and presenting info that I find "interesting".

The 5 chewing gum series has been out for a while now, so I'm doubtful that this is another gum promo.

Because 42 Entertainment are running the ARG I'm inclined to think movie. It's too early to be for Captain America. It feels sci-fi, but I just find myself looking forward to what happens after the countdown ends.

yeah, it's something big, and it's likely a 5 gum cross-marketing effort.

good find on the images, though.

Halo for sure look at this http://www.destructoid.com/oh-look-a-wild-halo-5-logo-appears--193644.phtml the 5 on the disk matches perfectly with 5 gum thus I believe they are working together on this one.

Admittedly, the Halo 5 does look similar, but different enough for me to still be leery.

Searching for....

What can be found and related?

Possible mechanical / biological sybiosis: Or even merging or mutagen? Why would we loose our basic human senses?

Heightened Sensory Perception:How did the fire start? That classroom was filled with the best " Subjects?" The red headed Girl draws the future?

Military rule: Brochure about becoming a advance soldier..for What?

The ring is a TOKEN < this seems key to something.

Or it could be Bubblicious MAKING A COMEBACK LIKE NOONES EVER SEEN!!!!

BakuKuro and I both agree that this is probably for something completely new.

Maybe it's to jumpstart a new TV show? Terry O'Quinn seems to be having a good run of ARGs Very Happy

Honestly, that would be so hilarious that it would be amazing. Laughing A part of me is almost hoping it's just for gum, since the idea of having such a huge and massive campaign for gum totally amuses me.

Funnily when I first signed up, I thought it was for Captain America too.

But to your point about the gum having been out for a while, they've recently done a large-budget game project in the UK - the Nightjar, an aural audio iPhone game with a celebrity voice actor. (The app is UK-only but you can see the same engine at work in Papa Sangre, which is in the US app store.) So this campaign could be part of a global strategy.

What if Gabe from Valve didn't eat Ep3?

Damnit, Half Life will never make it to 3.

There's a movie coming out called either Oblivion or Horizon starring Tom Cruise that is to be released in July 2013. I can't say for sure but seems like a likely candidate to me based on the time frame and how 42 Entertainment operates their ARGs. Flynn Lives was a 2 year campaign.

Check it out:

Sounds like a cool movie anyway.
