[SPEC] The icefly what is it for? Obviously, it is vital to the Traelek Institute, and-subsequently-the Human Preservation Project, but WHY? Is there something inside its DNA that they need?

Anyone who has an Ice Fly... Since my Ice Fly isn't working does anyone who has a working Ice Fly in their possession notice anything about it? Does it blink or buzz?

Haven't they referred the Ice Fly as the last hope? Why do we need it? What is it that makes the Ice Fly help preserve our senses? Is it the substance that makes it glow? Do I have to many questions? Yes, I do.
Anyway the Ice Fly is like a bee, could it be the honey we need?

Yep, they were.
Does anyone else think the blinking looks a bit like Morse Code? It'd be interesting to get film of all of them, in the order of cities, and see if there's a message.

In that video the morse code I saw looked a bit like
"-. --- -.. . .-.-.- -.-. --- -- ."
Translates to
"NODE.COME"

Actually, a few of us got something closer to the already revealed "SurvivalCode.com" website.
But who knows, could be wrong!

The nashville one does not blink (yet?) and only the bottom is lit and has stayed lit.

I'd have to throw my vote in with this. Last night I think we managed to procure two videos. The first one, which I saw, ended up being "RVIVAL CODE," and apparently the second spelt out "SURVIVAL CODE . COM," or something to that extent, and just repeated it.
I think some of the translators had a few variations from that, but they didn't lead to anything by fiddling with the URL (as far as I tried, anyways). This may have been an error in translation, but I haven't seen the second video so I can't really tell you...

LA Ice FLy The LA Ice Fly still has not lit up, so no blinking action. I left it plugged in all night too. Maybe they each have timers in them and have different morse code messages?

I am thinking that may be the case. Since so many are having them do something different. I read someone on here said the chest was only lit and nothing else.

the icefly appears to be biomechanical. there is a high possibility that they have something to do with HSP either they can stimulate it or they experience it on a daily basis.
Considering where they can be found they might not have developed on this planet.

The Boston one lit up this afternoon and did some morse code, but it was just the survivalcode.com website. I got some video, if someone wants it, but it's pretty clear (to me, at least) that it doesn't have anything more interesting to tell us.
