any code will unlock a new key so if you see a icefly BUY IT

Target, the 3 pack multipacks (which makes it less than $1 per pack, as the multi's are <$3) of Cobalt Limited Edition with Expiration dates of 29Aug12.

EVERY pack has an icefly outside and code inside.

Oh, EXCELLENT. I almost bought a Cobalt multi last night, same exp. date, but the loose packs of same date I didn't find an icefly. Was worried about risking it since the packaging is solid. Thanks man, hope mine have flies too!

Spartanslayer15: a number of people have confirmed this. The codes don't illuminate the matching flavor key, so it really doesn't matter where the code comes from (since all are unique). You can be pretty confident about it.

Yes, thank you for posting this! Now if only there was a way to see through that black wrapper...

I ended up with 21 packs of cobalt gum.

I entered 11 codes and got all the constelation codes AND 1 extra test facility code.

Flavor 100% did not matter.

I sorta "cheated".

I grabbed one off the shelf, carefully opened it, and saw a fly on the first pack. Checked the expiration date, and bought a bunch more with the same date. I would have bought the multi pack I opened, regardless...but it was a convenient way to check....because it's a LOT less expensive to buy the 3 packs vs the individual packs

I bought 6 other multi packs...and checked them ALL when I got to the car. Every one had an ice fly.

If the expiration date and flavor (Cobalt Limited Edition) match...you're probably OK. If not, open ONE of the multis (with the intention to buy it, either way) to check. If you see an icefly on it...you can probably safely grab a bunch of them.

I can confirm whats been said in this thread. I got to target, looked through the individual packs. None of them had the icefly on it. I went to the snack section and found the Cobalt 3 packs. There were 2 different exp dates. There were some with August 2012 exp dates and alot with 05SEP12 exp dates. I grabbed 4 of the September packs and 1 of the August packs. I took them to the cashier, I got some weird looks because was buying so much gum. I paid for them, they were $2.50 each for the 3 packs. I ripped them open and all the packs with the September exp date had the icefly on them. None of the pack of 3 with the August exp date had the icefly on it.

So try to go to target to get the gum
Try to get the cobalt 3 packs
try to get the newest packs[/i]

Looks like, for the cobalt, you want the expiration to be very late August or later.

Me and my cousin both "bought" (used someone else's money) 8 of the rain limited edition packet w/ expiration date 21 AUG 12 (August 21st) so its safe to say based on previous accounts and this one the later the exp date, the more likely it is to get a fly on on of the packets. Bought it at Wilson Farms. Be prepared to have your room/house smelling like gum though.

Yeah, tomorrow I'm gonna have to go out again and find some. Today was a bust, but I only looked at 3 packs since I'm buying them en masse.
