But...

Refusing to be distracted:

The face on Mars, for those of us who are space geeks, is no more.

Check out the best pics

Simple Google searching will show that this "fascinating discovery" is merely the product of poor resolution. So it, and the now discredited Hoagland, still aren't part of my redkore repetoire.

Redkor is a band. Not part of the experience (I hope).

Don't know if it means much

... but on the main page, as well as the link to /tel_trips (in red hexagon), there is now a link to /tel_shapes/r_key.html on the rectangle.

I don't remember seeing this before. The page is empty.

Behind the scenes there is also some tracking of clicks at a statistics page (3DStats.com).

A few observations on the cards.

Alright Im working off the knowledge that all of this has something to do with "dimensional travel" or dimensional theory... and maybe take a few clues from the N Machine stuff...
I'll group this by card...
The Wafer:
on the front we have the design on the front page of RedKore and on the back a "diagram" of a red hexagon coming from a black box with a hexagon cut-out... as has been pointded out.. 'hexagons are used for dimensional travel' if you hold the wafer up to the light, in the upper "box" is the rectangle from the opposite side and in the red hexagon is the pentagon shape... the hexagon is moving from the rectangle (four sides) to the pentagon (five sides) fourth and fifth dimensions?
Data 1: on the front is the "base sequence" design and on the back is the four by three grid...
SPEC: could this grid be some sort of grid cypher?
http://home.att.net/~stephen821/cyphers/codesgen.htm
link to example of grid cypher unnder "pig pen alphabet"
notice also that the "base sequence" arrow thingy fits into this grid and the arrow head at the end fits neatly into the blank box...
Data2:
not sure what the numbers mean... but heres the sequence of numbers next to the rectangles:
1,5,0?,7,10,11,13,14,15,0?,0?,0? zeros are when a box has no number
and numbers with no rectangles: 2,3,4,6,8,9,12
the thing I saw almost immediately about the back of this card is it looks like a dimensional diagram.. the first box has one rectangle... 0 dimension.. the second has two rectangles forming a line... one dimension
the third has two lines forming an angle... a plane.. the fourth has three forming a three dimensional grid... and the fifth has four... adding another fourth dimension... no idea what the front "pattern" diagram means... looks like a enquilateral cross... with five sections or a cross sectioned into twelve smaller sections... twelve and five seem to be a theme here also... as shown in the backs of the two data cards...
OK one last thought before I leave.... there are two "screens" in the first trip on the redkore site... do these correspond to the two data cards?
has anyone held them up to the monitor or anything? see if the boxes point anything out? Also if you click the box in the first screen.. go to the second screen (with the cross in the box) and hit the back button... the box inside the first screen dissapears... and if the site is keeping track of the number of clicks.. is there an amount of clicks that change something?
Alright... Ive memorized the cards now and see them if I shut my eyes... so I need too sleep... hopefully Im not running into a dead end here...

Really thinking about getting a proper user name,
LittleFish

Hey LittleFish,

I've found some new stuff out, but I'm not sure if you want to continue this. Check out the forums over at redkore.com and let me know. Personally, i'd like to keep going, especially considering some of the new stuff i've found, but just let me know what you think.

This is kind of bogus. Say what you want about a game or its implementers, but cyberstalking of this sort is just poor form. Bass, I assume you will delete the above post.

Yes, please do. No need to let a few bad apples let the pie go to waste.

Anthrax,

Are you still considering "playing"? if that is what you wanna call this "trip."

I'm curious to here what other people think, having read the goings-on over at the redkore forums.

I'm monitoring this one as well. I asked a few questions over there, we'll see if I get a response.

Even though I don't agree with the way the game was presented to people in IRC, and I'm not about to spend $35 canadian on their products, I'm still curious about what the whole thing is about. As long as the discussion doesn't turn sour again, I'm willing to let time tell the story of RK.

Memes.org

Ok a couple things abut the Memes post.
I did a lookup on Marc Fiszman and the name was registered to a Boston address and the email checked out. So I sent off a query to the mail addie to see if the offer was still valid and this is what popped back at early business hours this morning:

There's been a bit of confusion about that e-mail.

I had actually intended it for the site admin, the person who had posted the TELEPORT comment at incunabula.org.

Unfortunately, it was regarded as spam and posted to memes.org's audience.

Still, I'm glad to hear of your interest.
