- lurker here who's been working on decoding the 2nd cipher.

I got GUNHFPTARL CUN_L_IHBE P_QDN_UDE_NAT from memory, then I ran the first word, 'GUNHFPTARL' through a caesar cipher decoder and came up with 50+ permutations, BACKSLIDERS amongst them. Sounds like AnonymousLiberty did the same thing.

If AnonymousLiberty can tell us which key he used to get backsliders, we can not only confirm these are the words, but also, we'll know four of the previously unknown characters.

 		I noticed that yesterday not only did they add the Pictures page to the website but they also changed the word associates in the message on the get involved to the word helpers.

I went looking for other changes and noticed that at the bottom of the get involved page in tiny white font it says "Top Down." which I don't remember being there before. You can't actually see it, you have to either look at the page source or highlight it.

Also, the name of the .mp3 playing on the Pictures page is called TopDown.mp3

Personally I think they're trying to give some kind of clue. I have no idea what it means though.

That's not a caesar cipher. A caesar cipher shifts the alphabet down. If the alphabet were shifted so that G is decrypted to B, you'd get "bpicakovmg" Also, GUNHFPTARL is only 10 letters while backsliders is 11, making it impossible for it to be decoded by any simple letter replacement to become backsliders.

 		I used the bottom part ( P_QDN_UOE_D_NAT) as the Key for the cipher... and I got backsliders cleanly. Also on the formspring they said that one symbol could be an entire word. Like I said, it is probably wrong, but I want to know what that second message says. They said they were not using ciphers on Formspring? that makes this second message complete gibberish based off of what we know the translation to be...So either our original translation is incorrect or they are using some sort of cipher or something...

It might just be that. I personally have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. It's terrible pain that makes my life hell, but it's treatable. I think the reason why they are telling us not to worry, is because they want us to focus on their "cause." Perhaps the date 8𠖥1 is in reference of the bible because they wanted to create art (that STC diagram) so they could raise money to pay for an operation, without having to collect donations. Their secrecy and people "following" them by posting up flyers everywhere could help the promotion of their art, so they can pay for an operation for her.

Even though my Lupus isn't as "dangerous" as cancer or stuff like that, it's still bad, and there are procedures that can help, but are expensive and aren't covered by normal insurance.

Perhaps 18,000 is a family friend, or family in general, and the reason why Belle would be "mad, but not for long," is because she's someone who doesn't feel comfortable accepting help, even though it's positive. I'm the same way. I'm not used to people wanting to help me, so when people try, it makes me mad, not in the "oh my god go away before I kill you" sort of way, but in the uncomfortable sort of way.

You guys get what I'm saying?
