HERE:

http://www.geocode.com/modules.php?name=TestDrive_Eagle

Submit any USA address and get the latitude/longitude coordinates.

not wanting to make assumptions

This probably goes w/out saying, but make sure you give her the axon phone # as well. I doubt that giving her solely the GPS coords will suffice.

She has said on the... hives page I believe, that she wants

1. GPS
2. Address
3. Phone number
4. Picture of phone clearly showing the label that says the phone number.
(Or as clear as you can get it.)

I have a question in the same line.

Does anyone know of a way to get the GPS coordinates in another country? I'm living in France at the moment. Can an axon in another country even be submitted. And am I to late submitting this? I haven't been able to before now.

Sorry, that "question" turned into several. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I'm in canada and have the same question. I submitted an axon, but my coords were off by a little and thus was in the ocean

Commander,
The geographic coordinates you provide map to the ocean. I have had zero success constructing axons roads to the ocean previously. Do you understand, soldier? I am concerned that other crew members may find themselves in harm's way if they attempt to rendezvous at the wrong location. I therefore am ordering you to resubmit matching physical address and improved geographic coordinates so that I may broadcast to you, my trusted crew member. Without this data, I will not attempt to construct a road to the axon you submitted.
Do not disappoint me.

Update:
Ok so here's what I did. I downloaded the 7 day trial of keyhole pro http://www.keyhole.com and got the coords of my axon from the map. (Unfourtunately it has mostly only major cities, so the coutry folks may have to look elsewhere) I then went to http://jeeep.com/details/coord and converted them to the WGS 84/NAD 83 format and submitted.

Now here is the new problem: Melissa reported back that

Soldier,
I have unfortunate news.
As you know, I am operating with primitive hardware.
The hardware I am using makes it impossible for me to broadcast transmissions to your location. There appears to be some kind of boundary across which I can not construct my roads.
I trust that you will continue to remain in contact via this channel, so that we may continue to work together.

Any ideas? Could it be that I didn't specify the "full" phone number for her to call. I included only the area code i.e. 604-224-xxxx.

I replied asking Mel to prefix a 1. We'll see.

Thanks for the help.

Aren't incoming calls blocked on all the payphones in Canada? That could be the barrier.

I can call the phone, in fact it is often called. It may be blocked from receiving international (or long distance) calls. I'm not sure.
