Tron Legacy Pinball Machine

I have no arcades anywhere around me, so my only hope of playing this is to fly to an arcade, or buy one for my house...

i own a few arcade games and a pin made by stern. there was a factory store near my old job so i'd talk shop with the sales girl and about gary stern and what not. i'm not entirely sure even the limited edition - chromed out - will be that good of a game.

yes its tron but compare it to some of sterns previous games this one is a cheap version to license a movie and get the bucks to carry them on to the next big project. :/

the toys are the cheap versions of the collector ones. and if you had purchased them at target when they first came out or sdcc you would have one thats higher quality than the ones inside the machine. the sparse play field, limited gimicks, and gameplay doesn't look that radical - two ramps - spinning recognizer and there ya go.

compare it with addams family or twilight zone or medieval madness - stern's tron doesn't even compare.

its on par w iron man, spider man, batman, any comic movie thats cheesy enough to get a pin. thats where i think this machine is at. even before playing it. i'll play it, but i'm def not going to drop 5k on it

hmmm, it is my understanding that Stern is the only company left that still manufactures pinball games at all since around 1999. So if anyone was gonna do it I guess it's them, that being said, I thought Batman was a fun game, and Spiderman is one of my all time favs, I agree the figures usually look a bit cheap but the game play was pretty fun. keep in mind the first 2 machines that really got me were attack from mars, and Monster Bash, so maybe I just have gimmicky tastes. Also I have no plans to buy any machines in the near future, so I am just excited to spend a roll of quarters on it.

Tron Legacy Pinball

That pinball machine is located in Nickle City arcade in Rancho Bernardo. Its off Carmel Mountain Rd.

www.nickelcitysandiego.com is thier site. It's like $5 to get in and about 20 nickles for one credit on Tron. It does give an few extra plays if you use $1's though.

Hope this helps.
