The Stormy Axon Crew unlocked the Kissimmee, Florida axon. Took pictures while we were there.

Here's my email:

Melissa,

Please see attached. You requested documentation of your crew in
action, and by happenstance, such an event occurred while attempting
to rendezvous at the axon located at 28.336159, -81.591948, 10:06 PDT.

Upon arrival, I discovered Lt. Commander Case prone and unresponsive.
First aid was applied, and I am happy to report that he responded to
CPR quickly and appears healthy. It is unclear as to what caused his
condition in the first place. I will be following up with this vital
member of the Stormy Axon Crew here in Florida later today to ensure
his recovery is without complication, and to prevent further
occurrences.

I believe other members of our hurricane-battered team will be
contacting you as well, if they have not done so already.

Yours,
Dr. Kojubat, M.D.

Dr. Kojubat,
Your work today is to be commended.
Your quick thinking and action clearly will be very useful to me in the future.
Congratulations on your successful completion of today's mission, and
your rescue.

The picture I sent is attached. Note the condition of the telephone receiver - damaged hardware indeed. (And yes, that is a ruptured red inflatable object you might be noticing.) I'll leave it up to The Ouroboros, Dinaden and Mokey to decide whether they wish to post their own.

16:14 Davis axon report.

"Pants" got the 16:14 call hot in Davis. We got a great group picture (sorry that Prokaryotic_Cell had to miss it!). Below is the message I sent to Melissa with the picture, which I also include.

Quote:
Chief Science Officer Arana reporting!

I attach a photograph of the crew we have assembled in Davis, California at the trusty axon where we have now successfully answered eight of your calls.

Our crew consists of a combination of Science&Medical and Engineering&Mechanical specialists.

We have formed a cohesive crew and refer to ourselves as the "Aggie Advanced Research Group" or Aggie ARG

Pictured in the photograph from left to right are:

Cpl. Jshei (Engineering, with her box of specialized tools)

2nd Lt. Erik (Engineering, with his mechanized U-link installer)

Cpl. Pants (Science Staff, with his protective headgear and a biological sample to be analyzed)

Chief Science Officer (CSO) Arana (Science Staff and nominal leader of Aggie ARG who is aliquoting genetic samples taken in the field from local residents for analysis)

PFC Raycraft (Engineering, with his impact fastener installer, locally known as a hammer)

Demolitions Expert Charles (Engineering, assembling explosive devices using locally acquired materials)

All staff working with dangerous materials are wearing protective garments and headgear as required by military regulations.

We are ready and waiting for further instructions that will make use of our expertise in genetic engineering, advanced engineering and demolition!

I realize that Science and Engineering crew counts are now sufficient. We will not be at all offended to be part of the "Rank and file".

If possible, please acknowledge receipt of our visual confirmation.

Sincerely,
Arana, CSO

We thankfully acknowledge the brave passer-by who kindly took our picture!

Just five minutes after sending I received!!!

Quote:
Excellent work, Aggie ARG.
Your crew is extremely impressive.
You have been very loyal and reliable in the past, and this visual
evidence is outstanding.
I will have important assignments for you in the future.

Way to go Aggies!!!

Kali with personal axon

Here's the pic I sent to Melissa. I wanted to be elite forces, but you crazy kids beat me to it. *sigh* I had a guy who was willing to get tossed around a bit for my activity. I guess I'll just have to enjoy dissecting small furry creatures instead. Wink

Here's what Melissa sent in reply:

Quote:
Excellent visual evidence, Lt. Jr.
You continued research efforts are valuable to our mission.
I look forward to working with you on future assignments.

Well, I sent in my photo, and got the following reply:

Phaedra,
Impressive evidence.
You have shown great initiative in your organization.
Your efforts are not superfluous. You work will be rewarded in the future.
I trust that I will be able to depend on you when our most important
mission is underway.

How I love that crazy hunk of circuitry.

Hopefully she uses the following pic instead of the first one I sent her, which is all but unintelligible. Also, hopefully one of our fellow axon enhottenators will send me the group pic we took or post it here.

Well I sent off my rank and a pic and everything, explaining that I did it because her voicemail was full. Ya'll think she'll take it?

Only if it included a pay phone in the pic CLEARLY - read my previous post - she made me resubmit

Really? Crap. That's not fair, her voicemail is full and there's no way I can go out to a phone at this hour!

Will she take the pics tomorrow?

Not yet. I'll let you know if it goes through. She might not even dignify my email with a response, lol.
