The second signal sounds familiar to one used in another ARG I was in. They hid an image inside of it. Could that be the same here?

It was a small one that turned out to be a Beta ARG to help the Puppetmaster know what to do and what not to do next time.

Hello all!
This looks like it could be a neat one!
I can tell you that that sound file on LAINSY's page sounds like a Slow-Scan TeleVision (SSTV) signal (much like the ones used in the beginning of Valve's Portal ARG). However, it has static in the background, and I don't know if that would be a problem when decoding, as I have never used SSTV software.
Also, am I the only one who immediately thought of GLaDOS after figuring out that LAINSY is an A.I. with issues? GLaDOS, Henry/K-1, HAL... People need to learn that putting an A.I. in charge of something is a BAD idea!

Greetings and thanks duke! Has anybody been able to clean up that signal and come up with anything? +1 on the A.I.'s with issues thing.

I tried but I'm not that skilled when it comes to SSTV

I personally have no clue how to use SSTV stuff...
Anyway, anyone else notice the E-mail address listed on the FB page?
It's servicesSPLAT failtechnologies.com
EDIT: there's also their "investment department" at: investSPLAT failtechnologies.com
We might try sending it... something. Any idea what?

Well I take a nap and this is what happens. Well my tweet did get a response
Quote:
LAINSY has informed us of some unusual activity in our website right now. She doesn't want to say what is and we don't mind. She's logical!
and then

Are you guys hacking our website that's why it's down?! :O
I'm guessing their not inside the facility. I guess I'll tweet back.

I think I know how to process the signal. I need some cable... I think I should have a progress report in about five minutes for you guys.

Well I'm still trying with the SSTV as well as the owner of the failtech mystery site who's logging all of the finds.
As for the email, maybe someone could inquire about investing?

aahh, well LAINSY right now refuses to tell us anything. So we're still figuring things out as well. Also, which facility?
They seemed to take that rather well.

Binary? Did you get an image of binary out of the signal? Or is it something else?

Yikes. That binary does look hard to read.
Also another tweet:

Antarctica Facility? I've never heard we had one there... I only know we have the Colorado and Alberta and two more...
Seems it was on a "Need to Know" basis.
Edit: The biggest binary on bottom decodes to "sun"
