URGH I've been gone for so long and it took me forever to catch up with this crap.

And with all this information piled in my head, I can't think clearly enough to come up with any speculation ._.
But, since the forums seem so...dead, I figured I'd leave this here to brighten up the room.

i'llgoawaynow

there is a bit of hinting of a POSSIBLE update tomorrow. HOPEFULLY.

There will possibly be an update tomorrow, according to OOG Jeff.

Jeff didn't say explicitely that there would be an update tomorrow...there's just been a lot of activity which would indicate that. I'm not going to link to his blog here though; there's an OOG thread with the link in it.

Also, it's "whom", because "whom" is used when it's a direct or indirect object.

Hey hey, I've come back from the dead to quickly say something I've been thinking about. The nursery rhyme ring around the rosie. Seeing as ashes have been mentioned and Noah got "we all fall down" written in his envelope I started thinking about the rhyme, then remembered there's an extra bit I'd forgotten about.

A ring, a ring of roses
A pocket full of posies
atishoo, atishoo
we all fall down

Ashes on the water
Ashes on the sea
We all jump up with a 123!

I've checked into the origins and it looks like it's more to do with the Great fire of London rather than the plague because of how late the link to the plague was made. I don't know if it's been mentioned yet and I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with this but I wanted to point out that there could be a link between the rhyme and the whole EMH universe.

EDIT: There's also the German version;
"Ringed, ringed row. We are three of the children, sitting under an elder bush. We all call: Hush, hush, hush! Sit down."

It's not too far off, I'd say, from real nervous-breakdown-chatter. It's been my experience as a person both close to those with mental illness, and as a person for whom clinical depression is a constant struggle*, that the kind of bullshit you pull up when in the midst of a complete breakdown is often kind of silly. When you lose your grip, your sense of humor doesn't magically disappear. It's still there, and you still use it. You're just terrified and angry and you have no filter, so there's no line between sincerity and jokiness. It's all the same nebulous glob of emotion, so yeah, silly shit's gonna come out of your mouth.

*raise your hand if you gasped in shock that RHS is a nutjob.

EDIT: MOTHERFUCK! This was supposed to go in the TJA thread. I'm a terrible person. Sorry guys. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

I'm saying nothing.

EDIT: I apologize, I really didn't mean it to sound as bitchy as it did. But I know how you feel RHS Smile

*she
Yes, I asked. And knowing correct grammar doesn't make someone a grammar nazi.
