I think the main teen guy's acting is the best part of this.
"What was that? "
"What the crap is this?"
*jumps as though he's just stubbed a toe.*
/sarcasm this whole thing is awful.

The first audio words Slender Man has ever spoken in the history of the entire mythos are "HUMAN, THEREFORE NO ".

"Human therefore no" is arguably the most incredible turn this mythos could've taken.
All crap aside though, this did kind of make me think that the place Slendy takes all his victims are 'To the Ark,' which would make a lot of sense with MH.

Actually I'm going to be honest, except for having human hands their Slenderman is arguably one of the coolest and most well made looking Slendermen thus far.

There is not a single piece of evidence in this film supporting the idea that it's not supposed to be bad.
Btw did their Slendy remind anyone else of Voldemort?

Hopefully it was supposed to be bad.
So very bad.
And I got a Voldy feel.
I don't really like their Slendy. Someone said it was made well but... Meh.

I am quite disappointed, I was planning to use something from the film in my vlog..
*sigh* Time for a rewrite.
I take it you mean the interview with Nealy, which I recognized from the fake Slendy documentary (and possibly originated elsewhere?). Listen...if you really think so lowly of yourself that you don't believe you could top......whatever they hell miserable failure that was, then you might want to rethink doing a vlog at all.
On the other hand, if you mean you were planning to use anything else contained in that video, then you should be thanking them; they pretty much showed what a terrible idea that would be.
Actually, on that note, there is one thing they did which doesn't necessarily have to suck. You see, there's a reason Slenderman videos are done faux Cinema Verite, but it's not because it wouldn't work in 3rd Person. On the contrary, a traditionally told story about Slenderman could potentially be great ...IF the director and cast was experienced and knew what they were doing. By faking Verite, the audience happily forgives amateurity because the story is being told from the premise that they (the audience) are experiencing these events through the eyes of non-filmmakers (they're real people, you see, because IT'S ALL REAL). Once you step away from that premise, all the inadequacies of your ability and experience (or lack there of) are thrown out into the harsh floodlights of criticism, to be poked and prodded to death.
But I do applaud this crew's boldness in being willing to film under any conditions, including while their parents or friends are talking on the phone off-screen. That's the mark of a truly efficient movie, not wasting a scrap of film to the cutting room floor. Good job! :p
