And because I was only half-sober when I made my last post and I'm not sure it made sense, is the guy playing Xakk the same actor who did the 'Just Another Fool' blog a while back? If this has already been addressed, sorry I'm dumb. I just think the similarities are striking.

I don't think so Mira, here's a pic of Logan (the JAF guy)

The REAL scare in this was the doll.

It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all

...Wait a second. That's either just a coincidence or they put that in to make the cross-over more apparent. And for some reason, I really want Amy's craziness to become a HABIT of hers.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
See what I did there?

Not Logan (JAfool guy) but a reference to him I would think. Actually it's interesting that they would reference that now, one of the characters from Fabulous is researching Slenderman and is going the JAFool route with the world tree and all.

Did Xakk just reference EMH and TT in that video?? They're really ropin' em all in aren't they? And knowing both of those groups, they're probably totally cool with that.

It's already been established that TT and EMH are in the same Slenderverse, anyways. xD

This was what I accidentally posted in the EMH thread earlier. Meant to put it here.

Quote:
It's not too far off, I'd say, from real nervous-breakdown-chatter. It's been my experience as a person both close to those with mental illness, and as a person for whom clinical depression is a constant struggle*, that the kind of bullshit you pull up when in the midst of a complete breakdown is often kind of silly. When you lose your grip, your sense of humor doesn't magically disappear. It's still there, and you still use it. You're just terrified and angry and you have no filter, so there's no line between sincerity and jokiness. It's all the same nebulous glob of emotion, so yeah, silly shit's gonna come out of your mouth.

*raise your hand if you gasped in shock that RHS is a nutjob.

I'm new to this, and just watched it up to "My Baby is Home", but -

WELL DONE GIRLS!! This gets my personal seal of approval!! I don't know why, but you guys have really great direction - the cinematography is (of course) improvised, but images look great almost all of the time!!

Also, TJ is hot. Like, very hot. Dunce

So yeah, I'm catching up. But so far: VERY WELL DONE!!

EDIT: Just saw "The Stares to Nowhere".

...

This may be the single most scary thing since EMH related to Slenderman!
I mean it.

Well, I'm now up to "Not Going Back to the Park", and there were some REALLY genuinely scary things there (the screaming Cuthulhu/plague doctor-thing, the weird shadow), so yeah...

I mean, it may kind of sound weird, but I have to stress: I am actually doing my own short movies and this kind of stuff. I try to watch a film once a day (at some two) and as many a day when a filmfest is out. I know how much it costs to make shit look good, and how little money is needed at times to make some cool stuff up. I know the advantage of having a DP and a guy who does the light.

This entire series just looks and feels like a lot more than it probably cost and is. The only gripe I have with the big three is that they aren't nearly as cinematic/psychedelic/visually inventive as they could be. They have amazing effects and great episodes here and there, but you can see they're kids and figuring out their style and slowly progressing as visual storytellers.

The girls, however, seem to actually have taken some film classes! They really know how to use lights and shadows, colors and masks. There is some stuff in there that works exceptionally well and has a lot of thought put into it.

This may be the most cinematic of the shows around. Also the most "psychedelic". I will wait for the next few videos to get even more insane, but yeah - wow!

I know I'm a bit late to this particular subject of this particular topic, but in regard to the Amy's-dad-twitpics, a lot of y'all wondered what there was in the Afghanistan twitpic that made it interesting (and I didn't see anyone pointing this out, but I'm sleep-deprived today, so it's possible someone actually did and I missed it.)

Slendy's standing behind the tall, white lamppost, obelisk thingie on the right side of the picture, thus confirming my suspicions that Slendy works for Blackwater:

Holy poop, that's him. I must say, that's the first time I've seen him in an urban (like city center) area.
