Yeah, I can only address this in bullet points for the moment.

*What I will say off the bat is that the new Rake looks excellent, like one of the creatures out of The Descent and that was top-line Hollywood FX. Very well done work with probably minimal effort and maximum restraint and style.

*PRETENTIOUS MOMENT (#1): The V.O. with mute footage at the beginning was also excellent and reminded me of some European New Wave or Japanese horror, and that was very atmospheric. All in all, the lighting work in this was wonderful, especially as they drifted into the woods. Planned or unplanned, it looks perfect.

*Why does Steph say "I thought we were supposed to be normal"? Just a random line or something more, I can't tell anymore. Also, they appear to be fucking (IG).

*I assumed the Rake was dragging Daniel off in the footage at the beginning - that looked like his shorts. But maybe he did it after...well, that's the question, was it a deer. Or do they only think it was a deer.

I don't know where to go with this at the moment, I really don't. What can we say to them? What is there to be done with them in this condition?

P.S. - Please applaud Evan on his Sonny Landham in Predator impression, standing at the edge of the woods.

Interesting. So HABIT had a missing clip (the Rake taking the deer [edit: OR PERSON? Shocked

] they inadvertently killed) from a video that wouldn't be filmed till a month later during 4th of July. Could he be behind all of the time travel shenanigans?

Oh, and a mandatory: EMH continues to show why they're considered the best slenderman storytellers with their latest video. Now if they'd just update more often than once-a-decade, their story might feel a bit more coherent...

Is anyone able to enhance frames in the video and blow them up? I'm trying to see if what they're going towards around 9:16 is actually a frickin' deer or whatever.

First thoughts:

Oh man. Phew. They did an AMAZING job building tension here. With the bit at the beginning, I was very much in suspense to see what would happen to them.

The new Rake design is TERRIFYING. My god, it's fantastic.

Evan at the end of the video is CLEARLY Habit. The looks he gives the camera, the huskier voice he uses, licking the blood off his hands...

Poor Alex, that was extremely disturbing.
