Thought of that, couldn't get anywhere with it. I'm personally out of ideas.
The PMs have been good at dropping us lines, so I say we just keep waiting and thinking.

anyone try combining the corrupted text files, see if they're part of one giant text file?

That was my first thought.
However, the different texts are formatted differently. I don't see how they would fit together.

I found an online file conversion site and converted the AML file into something Audacity can understand (I used MP3).
I will proceed to mess around with it.

File attached in case someone else would like a go as well.

Audacity uses the FFmpeg libraries for audio like AMR files, which aren't automatically bundled with their releases (it assumes you have the FFmpeg libs already installed elsewhere). You can check out this link to figure out how to get them installed automatically for Audacity: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ:Installation_and_Plug-Ins#installffmpeg

Once I installed that, I was able to open AMR files without complaints.

Well, the most else I can get out of it is:

Other than going in and manually deleting all the tiny periods of silence (which would take FREAKING FOREVER), I'm out of ideas here.

EDIT: Actually tried that on a section of sound. Made it worse. Ok, completely out of ideas now.

Tried listening to the notegg file via Audacity and got zilch. Dunno

Do we know if LAINSY will open doors in case of a fire? I wonder what would happen if it was possible to remotely use LMAO technology to generate some smoke in a specific area.

Well, the smoke idea isn't a bad one, however, our guy is in a bomb shelter. Bomb shelters experience fire all the time, so I doubt that particular room would open up in that scenario.

However! Dan said they needed a way to get a message to him? Perhaps they could use LMAO to create arrows in the air pointing to that area Dan talked about where the blast doors could be opened. Or perhaps it could be used to draw a message on a wall. It's worth pitching to Dan, IMO.
