The area looked somewhat like Baldpate. But then again, it was a wooded area, which looks like every other wooded area.

I take it that sufficient time has passed for non-spoilered discussion of the new entries?

A question arises about the iterations theory: What are the Candle Cove boys[1]? Are they the previous iteration? Or the originals, serving as a template for a cycle that must repeat until some condition is met[3]? A third alternative is that they aren't actually any particular iteration, but rather archetypes[4]. This last possibility sounds good to me, but certain elements of the video speak against it. They don't seem detached enough, for a start.

@re: the hidden videos being Slendervision

Many moons ago, I posted a tl;dr-y post systematizing every origin for the hidden videos I could think of. Naturally, the leading theory now is something completely different. EMH has an infinite capacity to surprise. We're 5.5 boxes in, and I still have way more questions than answers.

On a goofier note, I can't wrap my brain around how exactly Slendervision gets transferred to YouTube. Does Slendy's head have...RCA jacks? Does he do H.264 encoding? USB?

Even if they can't watch the video themselves, maybe we should summarize it for them. Just so we're all on the same page, more or less. I don't recall, are they able to read transcripts of the hidden videos, or is it better to just tell them generally what happened?

I actually don't know what happens if we send them detailed transcripts. This is past the point where they might not trust us, and just text shouldn't trigger the Mining Four reaction. Some kind soul posted an excellent transcript of the video on typepad a while back. Perhaps we should send it?

Thanks guys. Just trying to do what I can do.

I guess a transcript would be good. This might have a different effect on them though and we're just not realizing it. I mean this is a hidden video but it's not that negative or creepy like the last ones. It might do something good for them. (I know it's probably not going to work that way though.)

I'm still confused about somethings though. If HABIT is doing this contest thing and HABIT is Evan in disguise, then what does Evan do when HABIT wants to come out? Leave the guys for a while and let HABIT storm twitter?

And how does Tribetwelve come into all of this? Supposedly they're crossing over or what it just for that one video?

Oh and that Candle Cove is interesting stuff. I bet once someone sends them the transcript, curiosity is going to kill the cat.

They've trusted us before. Why think that they won't trust us now?

AAnd also I'm calling it right now...Jeff's brother the crazy one...is going to save them all.
