The CJP's latest story is titled "Mayor to Seal City Time Capsule". It will be opened in 2142 which is the same year the Mount Royal Cross capsule will be opened.

Tough to say if Mary has hidden anything in this article for us, but will keep looking none the less.

I have also received new emails from Cara with some interesting stuff.

So, are we being encouraged to create a "time capsule" that can survive the next "reset"? Is there anything that can/should be preserved, other than newspaper stories and websites? Who is the evidence for?

EDIT: BTW, I'm convinced by the Mary Smith article that "time capsule" and maybe 2142 are the clues we were supposed to get from Virgil.

I will go there but I can't make it down until later tonight. I'm contacting Marduk now to see if he can get down there faster. Either way, I'll do my best to try to have the location scouted.
I'll document what I can and report back.

OK, I'm on my way. But it's on the other side of town and it's traffic hour. I'll grab the phone and pick up Marduk along the way. I probably won't get there until about 6:30 or 7:00.

Got it!
Took a long time to actually get to the cross (I've lived in this city my whole life and I've never actually been there before...). Looked around for a while then found the plaque with the message about the time capsule. There were some rocks on the corner which I think was shaped in arrow at one point but must have gotten kicked by some passers by. Marduk and I searched in the woods in the direction of the arrow.
We found a bible in a ziplock bag.
Inside the front cover was a handwritten message "What lies in this book is the keys to my archive -V.B."
Then we found a page with a fold in it with a passage that was underlined.

I will have to give you all the details later. I paying the price right now for running off to get that drop. I was supposed to work late tonight, so I just got back to the office now. I'm probably going to be stuck here 'till about midnight or so. I don't want to be the one slowing down the game, but I really have to get my work done. This is not a complaint, it was well worth it, but I'm just giving you guys a heads up.

Tomorrow, hopefully in the afternoon, I will post a bunch of pics and I'll get into more details. Sorry about the delay.

Major Thanks Christien & Marduk! You two fellas give the phrase "Good Sports" an ARG twist. Was sure it was a drop & equally sure there would be a climb. Smile

If Virgil wants us to create something for his "time capsule" have begun some stark graphics art. Just mentioning this b/c apart from the environmental issues and whatever Declan Cole is orchestrating am really hoping that ColeFusion's ProtoArm launch today is a success. Admire the work you guys have done on your projects.

I sent him an email and a link to my blog. We will see what happens.
On another note, it appears that my main computer is not putting out a video signal anymore, so I will be giving myself a crash course in Mac. The last article from the post I was able to screen cap was the Proto-arm, Autopsy, and Thunderstorm ones, I'll have to figure out how to screen cap with a Mac.

ETA: The Post has been edited again, removing all articles about the recent murder, Virgil's blog seems to still be there. The countdown has also reset, counting down to 2 weeks from today again.
@christien Awesome job getting the book!! Is there anything other than the email address that you can find inside to lead to his "archives"?

Looks like according to Colefusion the Protoarm is releasing today. Given that I was head of development on the project its news to me...

I GUESS we have functional models we can ship, wihmth built in Wifi capability and total X-Chip utilization, but the project feels rushed. The lab boys and I never managed to integrate the Coffee Maker into the final design and we never even got STARTED on the Rocket-Fist mode for EVA-based combat. *Sighs*

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOSE SIGHT OF ANYTHING BEYOND THE BOTTOM LINE!

Anyway, I'ma gonna email our PR lady one more time and see if someone in Colefusion actually remembers I work there.
