I sent a few, a bunch, of tweets to Habit. My latest two were my offers.

First I offered him my services as a loyal (ish) retainer. In other words volunteering for Anything. But just to clarify I sent another one recently, saying I'd "even work against the EMH boys if necessary," as inspired by a few comments here on people thinking he might want people loyal only to him.

Someone just added this to the "Speculation" section of the last video on the wiki:

Quote:
There is a lot of talk, imagery, and editing that eludes to Steph being connected to Rake.

What are they referring to? Cause I'm not seeing that...

There isn't any. Sounds like grasping at straws with Steph having less and less screentime.

This might be backtracking a bit (I'm not completely caught up with the thread right now, so forgive me if I'm kind of off topic.)

But is anyone else getting the feeling that this "cycle"-or iterations I suppose-has happened in more than just the instances of Fairmount, and our current one?

Assuming that the Candleverse is in a sense a hub (See what I did there?) of all the knowledge of all the iterations. That area is the only place the boys can reflect upon each timeline. There's a collective knowledge/experience of all the different timelines shoved into one area. Sidenote: My mind keeps comparing the Candleverse!boys to Echo from Dollhouse. (A Joss creation I suggest watching....seriously it's wonderful.)

As of right now, we still don't have a reason for Slendy's "attack" on the Farimount!boys. What we do know is that is when Dr. C and Stephanie first arrived in the cycle.
However neither of them seem to be present within the Candleverse, which leads me to believe that they were not part of the original "group". They just happened to be swept up in the cycle that our three main boys seem to keep going through.
This would stand true for Alex as well.
He was not originally in the cycle, but now that he's present and toying with the current iteration he is now being target by the Rake. (Or if you believe the Rake is in alliance with Slendy, then Slendy himself.)

Within the Candleverse, we hear Vince mention that "something big is going to happen gentlemen". And, there are some thoughts floating around that Jeff's birthday is a going to trigger a large event.
I think this is the indication of this cycle ending, and new one starting.

----------------
Anyway, this is my first time theorizing, so there may be prominent snags and gaps in my logic. But sitting here reading over everything it seems kind of sound to me.

So ummm... I was looking over the latest hidden morse code video for anything that could give us anything and when the video went to the Candleverse and the boys noticed that there was someone there with a camera (or a thing, who knows what actually) the thing goes down to Vince's face for a while until Vince pushes it away which forces it to push back to (i think?) mantain balanceness?

Anyway what came out of a instant pause and an improve imaged using a program which I downloaded is going to give me nightmares for a long time. I think the face is Vincent's and just the camera moved too much but at least we have a visible limb from the mysterious camera holder.

The limb is normal color. It was just the program that made it white. You never actually see a hand though.

The Candleverse seems to hold them before/during/something iterations...it's raining there. It could be protecting them from the outside, kind of like an Ark.

Also I'm stilled bugged by the Linnie and other group stuffs. That still was ignored by the plot so far.

While I consider that maybe Jeff's birthday is gonna be a signal for something... I thin Pasdio's idea has a major flaw. Namely that the candleverse scene takes place before the Trials of HABIT began.

Unless--remote possibility--the contest they mentioned in the Candleverse wasn't the Trials but was instead today's contest over who gets the electronic documents.

Elaborate: A tournament to see who can best endure HABIT's challenges.

More and more elaborate: A contest to see who can make up the best challenges for themselves, and then endure them.

But probably not. Although it would explain why Corenthal and Steph are missing in the Candleverse, but (possibly) shouldn't have been before the Trials.

Well, even if that's true Matt, which is entirely possible actually, doesn't that put it as a couple of months before this event then?

Maybe Candle Cove is on a long term time delay? The boys are only just getting word of the trials now when the Rabbits have been involved in them for months now.

Well didn't they mention something along the lines of: Right between the yes when there were talking about the man in the Candleverse?

I'm not entirely sure but you can check the transcript. So it's hinted that Evan possibly kills Corenthal? Wait....maybe HABIT killed Corenthal!

Good point, Armada, and another good point, Luipaard. It's also possible that time moves differently in Candle Cove, like in Faerie, and a couple of months to them is like a couple of weeks or days to us. That could also help explain the Candle boys' lack of urgency.

EDIT: Reviewing the transcripts, it seems unlikely they're talking about anything other than the Trials. Maybe the Candle Cove sequence is from before our-universe boys met up with Steph for the first time?

P.S To Jeff does "thousand mile stare" mean anything to you?

I just explained this to a commenter on the wiki too... A "1000 mile stare" is a common saying that means someone who is staring into nothing, just a slack expression, no focus, as if they were looking at something 1000 miles away.
It should be noted that thousand-yard stare (I believe Jeff misspoke) typically refers to a symptom of post traumatic stress syndrome. Like you just saw something that fucked with your mind so much that you're just kinda out of it and just stare off into the distance most of the time. I don't think that's necessarily what Jeff is referring to.

I noticed the skin too. There is also a barely audible grunt when the thing is pushed. I swear I hear the camera-dude talking. But everyone is calling me a troll Rolling Eyes for saying that, but I swear you can hear it around 3:53, a low rumbly voice. I'm not saying it's Slenderman...I'm just saying I hear a distinct voice. That's all. I don't know who, but there's definitely somebody holding the camera.

They did heavily imply that there had been more than these two cycles. Maybe a lot more.

On that scale, you don't have to assume any kind of time disparity to make this make sense. Something big happening soon to a group in a time loop for who knows how long - they talked about Corenthal buying them 30 years "this time" - and a few months, even a year, would be relatively soon.
