I saw this mentioned on one of the Facebook groups and decided to check it out myself. The countdown after survivalcode.com/thegenesis/ is displaying 0s across the board. It is probably a glitch in their system, but still strange. I haven't noticed anything else different on any of the game-related sites.

Just a glitch. Countdown's still going, same time...

Yeah, I just looked at it again a little while ago and it is back to normal! Maybe they were doing some sort of update earlier. I wish they'd make it so we can see the countdown without going through that entire video.

The video isn't as bad as the countdown clock is, it has background noise so it's annoying to leave it on and try to watch other videos or listen to music -.-

I am hoping that when the countdown ends it won't be a "big" drop like last time. There was much preparation going on during the last countdown and not a whole lot now.

I am anxiously awaiting, however. Smile

Why not just use a java applet or a simple program that goes off the same countdown? Or at the very least, a plugin in firefox that mutes flash sound (any good Flash handling addon will.)

God, this half hour is killing me to wait. Not quite as much as last time, since there isn't a real-world event going on, but still.

Guess we'll finally find out what the keys do, huh?

Why did I think the timer was counting down to today? Why was I not the only one? Did a whole bunch of us misread it two weeks ago or what? Sad

Agreed. I have to wait six ours after the countdown ends tomorrow. But alas, the Icefly was totally worth it all.

I'm thinking the keys will allow us to access different areas of the facility we will probably be allowed to enter once the countdown is over. Not sure about the constellation keys (maybe special rooms / challenges?) but for the facility ones, that's my most straightforward conclusion.

That's probably the general consensus though, so sorry if I'm repeating guesses Confused
