Pretty sure the iceflies will start blinking again. Mine is at home or I would help. I know another guy is at work. I am sure out of the 15 someone will catch it.

I doubt it.

I missed most of it when my Icefly first started flashing. But I noted it had been plugged in for about 3 hours. The next morning I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and sure enough, 3 hours later it started flashing the morse code for "survivalcode.com" again.

So, it has a timer for 3 hours after it's plugged in, but if it had a second timer for when the survivalcode.com timer expires, it would either need a very good clock with its own internal power source to keep it on track (which is expensive) or some way to transmit/receive clock signals (which is also expensive). It would also need to account for any technical difficulties (like telling us to wait another half hour for something to happen).

More than likely, the Icefly artifacts are done. Their use was to point us to survivalcode.com. The URL was also added to the fragmented video as well, just as a failsafe, since there were only 15 Icefly artifacts released into the wild.

Edit: VVV Not hard, but more expensive. Now you'd need the receiver, and a transmitter synching it up, you need to make sure it would be completely transparent and non-intrusive to the people with the Icefly artifacts (or notify them of this fact when they pick it up) to avoid any possible liability.

Mine never blinked at all and I have unplugged it a few times to move it's location in my domicile... mind you mine is only half lit. Might be why.

I dun think a wireless signal would be hard to install. It would be like a cellphone receiver on a bomb.

Is the troll being a troll or telling the truth?

I'm not quite sure WHY this makes me laugh as hard as it does, but - excellent.

I don't know anything about the technology involved, but that's what "transmission" makes me think of. I guess it could just be another video, but my brain's stuck on this.

Still at 30 minutes. Either there is some kind of very obtuse puzzle here or they are scrambleing to fix some last minute technical problems. If my time weren't worthless I'd be very annoyed.

I don't think we should be getting all excited over a guest. I'm no vet or anything, but someone that excited without an account seems fishy.

Page just updated. Some colored dots with numbers, like on the chalkboard in the video, maybe.
