I have had little success at finding you, so I implore you to find me. Wherever you are, invoke the address that we might meet.

Don't bother asking the rabble for help. Their minds are elsewhere. They are falling too far behind to help you now.

Well, the first thing I notice is that this letter array has 10x8=80 characters, which happens to be the same # of bits (1s and 0s) in the (AFAIK) still unsolved "thrice blood from blood" message. Could just be coincidence, or it could be a push for us to crack that one already. I worked on it for a while a few nights ago, trying to arrange various 8x10, and 5x16 bit arrays into ASCII, but without success.

This new graphic is named "muninn-note".

The other striking thing is obviously the greek letters: one alpha, one Omega, 3 mu's. Alpha - Omega = the beginning and the end?

"The falling too far behind" could be a hint that this related to an old puzzle we haven't solved.

Huginn and Muninn

In Norse myth, Huginn ("thought") and Muninn ("memory") are the two raven of the chief god Odin. Each morning Odin sends forth these raven and they fly over the earth. At night they return and sit on his shoulders to tell him what they heard and saw.

Coincidence?

The name of the web page is "lest i forget even this...". There's a msg there folks, take a crack at it.

Haven't done much with this yet. The letter distribution looks natural enough, I don't think there's any cypher. I still like the Alpha-Omega angle to indicate start/end of message. I'm theorizing that there is some special order to traverse the letters in to spell out the messsage.

Perhaps the biggest mystery are the 3 mu's. I discovered that in Chinese, "mu" means wood, in Japanese it means "no thing", in science its the factor of amplification. Not very helpful, although the Japanese thing could function as punctuation of some sort (end of sentence?).

You'd better hurry, fellow winged-one. Ra has replaced the guidepost with a vanity project. Unearth my message before google recaches.

Greek Alphabet, upper & lower case:
http://www.ibiblio.org/koine/greek/lessons/alphabet.html

Still not getting anywhere with this one. It occured to me to translate all the non-Greek letters into Greek ones somehow, but the Greek alphabet has only 24 symbols, and it's not clear how that would be done. The message has Ys, for example, the 25th letter.

Perhaps a more fruitful observation: The Omega shown is upper case, the lower case looks like a 'w'. So it could in fact just mean W. The alpha and mu shown are lowercase, and their uppercase version are simply regular a regular A and M. But non-Greek W, As and Ms are also used.

So all the greek letters naturally map onto non-greek ones. Still doesn't get me anywhere.
