 		 [STORY] In-Game Story and Characters
What We Know
This is to track information about characters in the story that is being played out. This will all be based on printed stuff we have seen and what we know, speculation will be marked *like this* but discussion is obviously welcomed on what we don't know.

    Researching Ice Flys?

    Received a letter/case file from a unknown party about some very good news in a black envelope. All that is currently known is that the writer/sender is doing research for Prof Traelek.

    Seen drawing pictures of what appeared to be the Traelek Institute.

    Her first name was revealed by Prof Traelek in the 2nd log files comics, and her surname in the letter to Maxine.

    Seen in the 2nd log files talking to Prof Traelek about her observational skills.

    Wrote a letter to Maxine but it had returned to sender.

    Is Deaf. Uses Sign Language and says she can read lips in the 2nd log file.

    Lived with Maxine at some point in the past.

    15 years have passed.

    In the Facility 2 comics she received a call on a 'Text Phone' which are used by the deaf, so this is a very good link that this is Bobbi as an adult.

    Maybe talking to Prof Traelek on the Text Phone

    In the Facility 2 comics, text on the phone says "It kills me to keep you two apart" - who? "Maxine"?

    Seen driving into Traelek Insititue in the Genesis video

 		I saw the Truck Driver in the center of a room of a 5 Gum commercial. The man in the glass activated a level and hundreds of ice-flies lifted him up. I assumed it would be on the web by now, but it seems its no where to be found, and I have yet to see it again.

I wonder if he's supposed to be the same character in those two clips. I can't imagine why they'd have one of their test subjects driving out into the wilderness to collect something for them, since it looks like they take "special" individuals. Sending someone on a dangerous journey like that could be costly.

 		The Ice Truck Driver could be an evil character, and is trying to get the Ice Flys before the Professor. In the 2nd log, he says he has a pressing matter to deal with and sees the Truck.

The "15 years ago" tagline doesn't appear until the page after the scene with the truck driver.

Not really. The truck driver was sent out to get the Icefly. The pressing matter is because the driver is on a mission to find the Icefly. I mean if I were a villain... I wouldn't let myself be seen on camera.

Does anyone get that good guy / villain feel from Terry Quinn ?

 		The OP's post has it backwards.

Bobbi wrote the letter to Maxine.

Maxine is the brunette who disappeared (whom Bobbi misses) from the car. The Top left of a letter is the senders address, not the addressed.
