Hmm I'm wondering about the University of Florida connection. I'm actually supposed to be going up there next weekend, I wonder if it's worth checking into anything while I'm there. I doubt if I'll find anything, but you never know.

I've been running over the Minecraft file with some mapping programs. I've been doing some pretty basic stuff, such as isolating the search to only chests, torches, wooden planks, obsidian deposits...

I haven't found anything we don't know already. It looks like only the chests that we've found already are relevant, the rest of them are all in moss cobblestone deposits which makes me think they are all randomly generated dungeons.

All other obsidian deposits appear to be linked to lava flows.

There is only one wood plank structure: The house.

There were only torches clustered around the Black Box: I don't think there has been any construction apart from there.

There do not appear to be any pre-existing Nether portals, but I feel that if there is anything in DUBIOUS we haven't found, it has to do with the 11 obsidian we found, and the Nether.

EDIT: But my cartographer programs aren't picking up anything there, either. Maybe that's it?

If there's something else to find apart from the portal, maybe somebody should ask HABIT for another hint...?

Remember I told you about the video that came up yesterday? Well I know you guys can't see it and even if you tried with a physical cd we know what happened then. But I wanted to tell you guys there's an interesting part in the video where you're all sitting down in a forest (Vince,Evan and Jeff) surrounded by candles. Jeff is wearing sort of like a suit but it's designed on a shirt, Evan is in handcuffs and Vince is wearing a sweatshirt. You're all talking like you guys know everything as to what's going . I've been thinking and i could send you a picture of a screencap from the video and you can take a look at it and see if you recogonize anything out of it. You know, that's actually a really good idea. I personally don't hold out much hope for there being anything else, but if someone does make it into a server, I'll lend a hand with excavation.
