not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but on /aftermath there are a few places within the paragraph that has extra spacing between certain words.

And yes I'm aware, newspapers do that all the time in articles. but it still could have some meaning.

I noticed on conduit the page is taped together in the middle. Has anyone split the image and overlaid it over itself?

My speculative guess:

The conduit picture is "before".

The picture in aftermath is "after".

In other words, an ice fly showed up in Taymyr. That's the conduit picture (stylized, for sure).

The aftermath picture is what occurred AFTER the icefly had arrived.

I think they are related.

I think that, in both cases, an icefly manifested (or was found).

I think the first fire was related to someone enrolled in that academy...I think the second fire was likely related to someone or something else. Maybe THAT'S where the "extraction" we've seen in the video occurred.

And the "removal" of the icefly caused the blast?

If you read the first clipping, its from 1996, which is the same year Bobbi was accepted to the academy. So it could be something to do with her. But at the same time it refers to their "kid" as a "he" so maybe not. As for the second one, we have no date whatsoever. This could have something to do with the icefly, being a crater and such. But I think the first one was an actual fire, not an explosion.

maybe it was her brother, and he died in the fire? and maybe she wasnt always deph untill then (icefly explosion reaction?)

also maybe when the icefly thaws(turns red from blue (if mechanicle)) it explodes? destroying any trace of itself and those it effected

bobbi signed the letter to maxine with her last name being gnarsea and the way the letter is writen seems like a letter to a sister so yeah...and one other thing she says that she isn't a mind reader but how could she draw those pictures unless she had already been there...seen the icefly and the doors ect.
