Welp I'm going to explore a little more but put my mind on the new Corenthal paper. Somehow, reading that Corenthal found a scrap of what I assume to be Slenderman has given me hope. How desperate is that? "The villian has torn his dapper coat- HE HAS A WEAKNESS!"

Yay! Very Happy Badges for everyone!

How the hell does Slendy lose a piece of what's essentially himself, though? There's got to be more to it! Shocked

Forgive my ignorance, I thought I was up to date on everything, but I don't recall hearing of this Slendy Scrap. When did this happen? Ha ha.

I'll make the thread again later in the night.

If i may ask,

What happened?

Thread's picking up now, but before it was a couple people giving their own personal rankings of various Slender series, one guy asking for Minecraft creepypasta, and a guy saying he used to watch EMH and was pretty much shitting himself at the sheer amount of content the series has now.

1995.pdf, Dr. Corenthal found it across the street after visiting a young Milo Asher at his house. Then he had Adam Roberts run tests on it (which, since he's a university professor, he made his grad students do for him).

Speaking of which, anyone go through Minerva's Den yet? I can't replay it myself right now.

Hey Hybrids See If I Can Help Out (Solution to Video Watching Problem)

Hey Vince,Evan and Jeff,

Remember I told you about the video that came up yesterday? Well I know you guys can't see it and even if you tried with a physical cd we know what happened then. But I wanted to tell you guys there's an interesting part in the video where you're all sitting down in a forest (Vince,Evan and Jeff) surrounded by candles. Jeff is wearing sort of like a suit but it's designed on a shirt, Evan is in handcuffs and Vince is wearing a sweatshirt. You're all talking like you guys know everything as to what's going . I've been thinking and i could send you a picture of a screencap from the video and you can take a look at it and see if you recogonize anything out of it. This way nothing will happen because it would have already with Evan's picture. Tell me what ya think. Stay Strong.

-WestRoadSal

P.S To Jeff does "thousand mile stare" mean anything to you?

HERS WHAT I RECIEVED:

I'll talk to the others about this (potentially receiving a letter, etc.) I don't know, man. Thanks for the offer, at least.

And "thousand mile stare"? Heh. Just sounds like a phrase I'd use to describe my brother's blank stare when he's drooling over a video game, mentally on the shores of oblivion.

Bumping this so it doesn't get lost. Also, this gets to me:

Any thoughts, guys?

WE HAVE TO PLAY OBLIVION NOW.

From now on I'm just going to assume everything they say means we have to play a video game for clues, no matter how ridiculous it sounds or how big of a leap it logic it takes me.

Gotta make myself known in the fandom somehow.

EDIT: I just thought of something regarding the hidden videos.
What if we mail the boys transcripts and maybe some screenshots printed out on paper? Would that work, or would that just cause another...episode?

It would likely cause another episode. They are not meant to see the hidden videos in any shape or form.

I try to stay off this computer and all but it's becoming really hard with all of these things I found out this morning playing around with the Minecraft map.

I've found some stuff out that might've or might've not been put up here but I'll post it anyway.

-When you're about to go in your first double doors after the lava/water combo don't enter them. On your left side I think when viewing the double doors take some steps back and you'll see a cobblestone wall. Break it. You'll come into a wierd open space. Cobblestone stairs down leading into a lake arched over by obsidian. Didn't explore too much here because I though you guys already knew considering how fast thse threads go but by the looks of it I guess not.

-And also when you're in the tunnel after the furnaces at about the halfway point two dirt blocks to the right look up. I thinkin that was done on purpose because there the only two dirt blocks so I dig and theres nothing really there except it forms a good pattern

Now explaining it like this is really hard. So you guys (and girls) want a video?

Thousand Mile (or more properly Thousand yard) stare is a common phrase that means the slack expression that people with PTSD get, just sort of staring into space with no visible emotion.

I think a Kaizo Mario hack would have been up HABIT's ally. A brutally difficult challenge with a high body count that ruins something people once held dear. 'Corse, even HABIT probably wants to avoid the wrath of Nintendo's lawyers. Rolling Eyes

So Corenthal was running around with his Black Box Detector for 10 years before the baddies finally got to him.

I'm intrigued by the reception Corenthal got at the 1995 convention. This suggests that things got really bad, in a way noticeable to outsiders, before the MT4 succumbed in 1981, or that Corenthal--who we only know through his diaries, really--has been an unreliable narrator and had a touch of Dr. Mengele mixed in with his Dr. Spock persona.

I'm betting on the latter. This guy just sounds too good to be true otherwise.

I'm wondering if the Rake might be a product of his experiments. But that's not important right now...

ETA: You should send the boys an email about that Ouro. It's obviously important.

I'm kinda willing to go and believe Corenthal at face value for now, given how the Candleverse guys speak of him in naught but glowing respect

Here's a picture of that underground obsidian arch. The torches weren't there by default, I placed them. And the dog's name is Robert.

Well, your post did tip me off, but only enough to look for that on a mapping program. When I saw this on my map I didn't actually think it was the place you mentioned, I thought I found something completely different until I got there.
