If you go behind the waterfall there is a short cave but it seems like the default ones that randomly generate going diagonally and all. Just there is gravel and dirt which I dug up a little bit and didnt seem to go nowhere. I didn't dig the whole thing.

There is a wierd little passage once you go in and to the left. I don't think that goes anywhere though. You can try though see where it takes you.

2 questions:Did anyone try the Nether? In game or in Map Editor programs?

And I heard someone say something about a chest with nether blocks? Is that true?

And i'm sorry about that Dr. Block, calling you Dr.Boot before. I was in a rush to get that message in.

So, I hadn't seen anyone say this, but there's a small structure on the top of the cube, that if you punch your way through the two stones of obsidian, opens a small room with holes in the floor that drop you back in to the cube, a little ways off from the house, next to the pond. There's also a large amount of one off cubes of obsidian on the top. That's all I've been able to find.

Are you talking about the chest with obsidian? That's near where you get out with the wall of lava and water.
I've attempted to wander the nether, but to no avail.

Destroyed the house via creeper. Spawn looks like a normal spawn, I'll keep buzzing through it to check if anything is there.

First time poster here. Made an account after finally being around for the latest happenings.

I ventured into the Minecraft save file and used in-game editing tools to remove blocks like dirt, stone, gravel, ores, etc. to reveal wood/obsidian/chests.

I took out a very large chunk from underneath the house and mountain, only to reveal the chest with 11 Obsidian, and the hidden room with the obsidian construction. No signs were found, no chests, nothing.

Now when I opened the world up and found that HABIT had given us a sword and lighter, I figured that maybe there was a pre-constructed portal somewhere that we had to light, but I haven't come across one yet.

I'll venture to the nether next and report back, I have a feeling there isn't anything though, as a few others have posted that they used Map Editors to scan the worlds and didn't find anything either in the Nether.

EDIT: I dug up nothing. Tried removing a chunk of nether, it's netherrack all the way down guys. Chances are HABIT planted these extra little things to make us search harder, however seeing as we got to the document already without what may or may not still be hidden, I think it's a dead lead.

An earlier poster said he twittered HABIT asking him if there was anything more to it, we'll see if HABIT responds.

This is my last post of the night.

The one thing that makes me dig and dig farther and farther because right out of the gate, right when you come out of the house, you're presented with "Good Luck Rabbits."

Why would he say "Good Luck" when the path that we see is so damn straight forward? It's basically follow the light. And then when you actually get to the supposed end it's just a password for the other electronic file? That's just absurd. Either someone is a very poor map maker or it's just really simple. We've come to find out that EMH is not simple at all.

And would HABIT put Good Luck? That's another thing. HABIT likes everything that is the opposite of good for crying out loud.

Maybe he's just baiting you, and wants you to go crazy looking for shit that's not there. In which case he's succeeded.

Or maybe he's referring to the fact that, when not on peaceful mode, there would be a metric fuckton of monsters attacking you. Hence the sword.

I'm looking at the Dubious in a map viewer, I outside the obsidian cube I'm not seeing anything at all that looks unnatural. The only thing there which might be beyond the scope of simply giving out a second password is the roof of the cube, which is not flat.

In MCedit (and other world editors presumably) it's extremely simple to make a block of something. If it's messy, someone would have to specifically make it that way.

I second this idea. I've looked at the map, and now that you mention it, that was the ONLY other thing besides the 11 obsidian chest / hidden room, that jumped out at me. It is clear from the rest of the map's creation (And the size of the save file) that HABIT obtained the obsidian through inventory edits / editing.

But why would he make a black box with such an irregular roof if he had edits? He clearly stacks extra blocks on top of the roof, not to mention the irregular shape of the box itself as it gets higher.

However, this irregularity doesn't seem to lead to anything besides fitting in with HABIT's character.

P.S. There was one more thing about this map: The deforestation that occurs for about 100 blocks away from spawn. There are a number of trees that are only halfway cut, while the actual world spawn when you remove the bed places you next to the black box.

Could someone give a summary in baby-talk for those of us who've never been within spitting distance of Minecraft? The discussion here sounds interesting and exciting, but I can't make heads or tails of it and am possibly not alone.

So I gave up on the Minecraft hunt. I was thinking maybe that the roof of the obsidian cave spelled out something when you looked at it from a distance high up but to no avail.

I dug out mostly everything that I found to no avail either. The only thing though is that the map is so wierdly shaped. Once you leave the box and venture out a little you hit so many overhangs it's not naturally made. You can tell.

The only thing that's odd is that HABIT said 2 electronic files that would help you out. But it's basically one. People had to find out the password for the minecraft level which gave you the password for the Corenthal paper.
