[QUESTION (DUH)] PA an asset?

Again today, Tycho of Penny Arcade made a "small" font PF reference on his newspost for the second time. I wonder how much manpower just that simple reference is creating for the ARG? Has anyone thought to ask him to actually ask for help from people?

Today's Tycho speak:

i know you're smart.

additional info requested

Could you elaborate on the connection? I just went & saw the text in question, but didn't see how it linked to the ARG (even checked the source code). For the record, I don't always read the PA news & didn't recall seeing the 1st post, so that may be why I'm not following this very well...

That's not an ILB reference. Tycho puts a phrase in that small font at the end of every one of his newsposts.

Are you sure? I've only noticed it recently, and most of the time they've been lining up with things in the ARG...maybe its just me noticing it now that I've seen PF's text...

I don't think it's related, I believe he's been doing those since before the game started. I did originally get involved with the game due to a mention in one of his news posts back in August though.

Though, I can definitely believe he's been adding ilb style comments recently. The last time I read the news, he had flea-speak as the comment. That's not exactly common language. How often do YOU see random people (not here) typing !grope?

a change of stance

I missed the flea speak one, but if you say it was there, I change my stance on the issue. It could just be that he follows the game & thought it was amusing (note to self: include in !grope in next email to gf)

Anyway today I saw:

with the address of the sender

I also noticed the username tycho in the forums, but that might not be the same person. this is starting to be a little more than an answer to a question; maybe we should bust out a PA consiparacy thread to track his fine print?
