I'm gonna be at Comic Con this week...if there were to be clues/promo/events dropped there, where would the best place to expect them at be?

The DC booth? The show floor in general?

I really want to scout for more info while I'm in Cali and be all the help I can be.

I know it's been mentioned before, but doesn't this seem to be an awfully big deal of an arg...for gum?

I wonder if Comic Con is why nothing new is being released right now?

This seems to be a really interesting take on an ARG. I know some of them try to keep up the impression that you are interacting with another world - but this one has some seriously overtly "gamey" elements. Like, wandering around through a virtual facility and playing minigames? There's no hand-waving around this one...

Or at least it seems unusual when compared to the games I've read about before. More experienced players, is this true?

Er, what about the Portal 2 ARG? It revolved around indie games, which makes sense since it was an ARG for a game...

*shrug* Doesn't really bother me all that much, but I'm a gamer to begin with, so there's that. XD

I wasn't familiar with the Portal 2 ARG - I may have to look into it.

It doesn't bother me, it just struck me as unusual! It may be less unusual thank I think, though.

I think i love bees had a game part to it too. Year Zero however didn't, as far as I can tell. It depends on what's appropriate for the given topic.

Didn't Flynn lives had interactive puzzle/games as well?

I haven't played any other ARGs - I've read a lot about Year Zero and some of the others, but it's not the same. This is very educational! Seems I was just ignorant. Smile

I mean, I knew there was a lot of sleuthing and puzzle-solving, but I didn't realize that other ARGs involved minigames like our jukebox puzzle! Now I know.

Perhaps this is a bit off topic, but man, I've been up until 5 am every morning reading YZ stuff. If this is what 42 was doing in 2007, I can't wait to see everything in store for us now.

The Adventure Company's In Memoriam had a lot of puzzle/mini-game stuff, as did Ocular Effect.

I wish there was gum around here with codes. I've been checking my grocery store every week and none of the gum packs have ice flies on them. I think they're trying to clear their inventory because it's been on sale for about a month but still... I want to get those constellation achievement badges. Sad

I got the music game, constellation key, and the lighting rod type game done.

I cannot figure out that pentagon thing for the life of me. Any clues?

Match the song you hear outside the door exactly, using the five audio tracks. Use headphones--it's easier.

Just picked up my prism and vortex codes. That completes the three I've heard of being available at the moment
