Congratulations, your perseverance has served you well...There is one more piece of the puzzle:
survivalcode.com/_coda

Definition of Coda: Coda (Italian for "tail", plural code) is a term used in music in a number of different senses, primarily to designate a passage that brings a piece (or one movement thereof) to a conclusion. "Technically an expanded cadence. Occurs at the end of a composition and traditionally brings the composition to a convincing conclusion. May consist of a few measures or an entire subdivision in itself."

Does this mean its the end?

How did we "technically" cheat? Someone found the pieces of the QR code and I put them together and got that website. I looked up the word coda and got that definition.

The other img urls used to give a 404, so these have recently been added to the directory, which leads me to believe we were meant to find it. Even if we weren't meant to find them, and it was a case of sloppy file storage, I could hardly call it "cheating". The info was there for the taking, if they didn't want us to find it, they should have hidden it better.

I don't mean to be rude, but quit being an ass.

This is not a race to see how who can figure out the end of the game by URL Manipulation. There is no reason for you to be seeing these files.

Guys -- be patient and read up on past posts instead of trying to brute force your way forward. It will benefit us all.

Wow, that was very rude. How was he being an ass? Nobody is racing and he didn't brute force anything. If you view the image and see that it's marked with a number in the URL the obvious thing to do is try a different number and see if something else comes up. If something does come up that's their fault for organizing it like that or not locking the page until the time is right. Brute forcing would be if he did something like go to trealek institute and go through the dictionary trying every word after the / until finally finding something.

In fact we all took words from pages we found and tried it at the end of the trealek URL to move on. How is trying a different number in a URL suddenly brute forcing, cheating, racing to the end, and being an ass? It's the same thing.

Am I really explaining why this shouldn't be done?

No, i'm not.

^ That's rude.

But I just want us to have as much fun in this as a team, by following all the trails and rules as we should be. Maybe i'm old school.

Would you like it if that page had all the spoilers of what this was all about? I mean 42e put time and effort into this and so did a lot of players. By doing that and what if he did reveal some big clues?

The game would be ruined and everyone would be pissed off and disappointed.

The Traelek words were meant to be found. The qr codes were a mistake and should have been reported to test subjects needed immediately when they were found.

If something was found a 'Guest' would have posted it un-spoilered anyway, and claimed:

"OMG I hit the jackpot guys!"

Ruined for everyone.

I believe the QR code pieces were meant to be found. They know better than to "hide" them out in the open like that.

IDK if anyone remembers but the image URL of the Achievement for finding an Icefly in the field used to be http://www.survivalcode.com/images/Profile/Achievements_Icefly.png

now all the URL's for the Achievements look like this - http://www.survivalcode.com/images/Profile/achievements/7rjeDbPuTB46nC.png?1311189347

If they really wanted to hide them from us they would have.

Even if they did manage to do a HORRIBLE job of hiding this and this actually is the end, i'm sure we'll be required to play through all the games and retrieve all the QR code pieces individually before we get a peak at what lies beneath "_coda"

I need some help...

I solved all the puzzles and have my constellation key, but I still have one arm of the gyroscope left to activate.

I have exclamation points in the constellation room on the map, as well as one for the audio game (I hit lvl 50 but the game doesn't acknowledge the 50 solution).

So what am I missing?
