 		Isn't it ironic that this image is called "I fell down.png"? Is it just a joke about the image or does it have any meaning?

This one is called "Vende.png" and on the image you can see two posters with the word written "Vende" on them. I'm really not sure if these give us any new hints. The same applies to a few other pictures. For example this one is called "The Law.png" and in the background of the image you can see a poster which has "Federal Labor Laws" written on it. This image is called "Repair.png" and right beneath the image you can see another poster which says "Computer repair". This one is called "Cles.png" and you can see the word "Cles" written on the sign that the image of Belle is attached to.

The "I fell down" and the "I could not stand" both have the same alt text, 115. Now, I'm a pretty big Bob Dylan fan so I recognized those lyrics instantly. It's from Bob Dylans 115th dream.

On August 3, 1934, Hitler became the supreme ruler of Germany (and remember the first "images of Belle" photo was Germany.png). Perhaps the original photo will reveal Belle to be a former Hitler Youth, and we'll be challenged not to judge her for it (not to cast the first stone, as it were).
The umbrella, I suppose, could be a symbol for willful ignorance, protection from uncomfortable knowledge. "Retraction" could refer to closing up the umbrella and accepting uncomfortable knowledge.
