[Trailhead??]Enricks.angelfire.com I'm really questioning whether or not this is a trailhead or not, and I'm not sure when the site was created, but I was linked to this site by someone I know. I've searched around, and found some creepy/intriguing stuff, but nothing seems conclusive now.
Is this a potential ARG, or does it just stop at the site? I haven't been able to piece together what I've found, but it seems like it leads to something bigger.
gibberish words translatable in google as latin. Keep clicking the ladies picture and you move deeper, but it doesn't seem to do much but increase the "glitches" until you get to the smilely face at the end.
I don't know what the purpose of this site is, but its frickin weird. It may be a creepy site made by a foreigner. Chrome was telling me the original was Thai.

Ok, first of all, does anyone have any ideas about the serial number looking thing that's on all of the "index" pages?
Second, am i the first one to notice the link at the bottom of the "locked"page (Enricks) that says "bypass login"? It leads to a page with a Youtube video (that I haven't watched yet). The "corrupted" text reads "The dream is ending Tyler" The page title is "Gomex".

I clicked the link to the video's page on Youtube. It was posted by someone called CapnSONiC. Here is the very telling description:
Quote:
This is the Persephone video reversed from: http://persephone.thehansofoundation.org/
In this message you can hear numbers like in Numbers Stations.
Numbers stations are shortwave radio stations of uncertain origin. They generally broadcast voices reading streams of numbers, words, letters (sometimes using a spelling alphabet), tunes or Morse code.
[From: wikipedia.org]
The message says:
101 118 105 100 101 110 116 32 97 103 101 110 100 97
(twice)
which translating from the ASCII table becomes:
"evident agenda"
It is part of "The Lost Experience"
Look at the following page for more informations about Numbers Stations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station
I tried clicking on that link, but it wouldn't seem to load.
Isn't "The Lost Experience" an ARG that's already been played out?
There are also a couple of comments and a video response relating to 8-3-11.

yes. Per our Archive: "The Lost Experience -- Concluded September 2006" and the games websites are long gone. I *really* think this is not a safe playground.

I got pop-up blocker warnings myself. That plus the foreign language (yes, the font is for Thailand) makes me feel like it is not intended for us, whatever it is.
btw, you can copy-paste all of the foreign text into http://translate.google.com/ and select "from Thai to English"

Yeah, it also occurred to me: why on earth would someone take a video that is supposedly the result of reversing a video relating to another ARG and put it in a semi-hidden webpage on a freaky website. I agree, unless someone comes and shines a light on all of this, we should just leave it alone.

this looks like it went to the /x/ board once http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:waNq2m43xZoJ:archive.no-ip.org/x/thread/7282062+exocrine+gomex+enricks&hl=en&gl=us&strip=1
search googled for gomex, endocrine, and enricks in order to find it
Not much of a discussion in /x/ about it except for them stating that there is infrasound playing on the site

Hello, folks.
I don't speak Thai and don't know what Thai writing should look like, but as you click on the woman, the text goes from what I presume to be "normal" Thai text to overlapping itself and "falling" down the page. It's just Zalgo text: http://www.eeemo.net/. 4chan's /x/ writes creepy things like HE COMES in Zalgo-text to spam at each other. Also, when you get to the end with the smiley, the sidebar says "Please Wake Up" in Zalgo text in English. "Please wake up" is the title/catchphrase of a story /x/ made up a very, very long time ago, a standard creepypasta: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Wake_Up .
I think it's likely that /x/ made this themselves at some point, and forgot about, then both us us stumbled on it again.

I take this to mean that you were the one who found this originally and linked it to Highwire? If this is the case, I have to ask, HOW did you find this strange website?

No, I didn't. But I used to read /x/, and nary a day goes by when they're not "discovering" something they forgot about, and sometimes made. They still get daily posts by people just stumbling onto the SCP wiki for the first time.
