I just had an idea. About to ask this on Noah's Formspring.

Hmmm. Nick's story is a lot like Johnny's (the previous one), with him calling HABIT "The Habit". But in Johnny's story a lot of the time Habit is described as doing something which just wouldn't make sense if he were possessing Johnny (like throwing him across the room). But then again, a lot of the other stuff seems like things that might be stuff Johnny did whilst possessed by Habit, and Habit does break into the story occasionally.

Maybe Johnny's story relates a more complex situation, in which shit kicked off and the family were captured by a different Habit possessee attacking - and Johnny only broke and was possessed later.

So maybe Habit is like the Dark Side - if you don't give in to your negative feelings he can't possess you.

Oh... god...

- HABIT is invisible to anybody else but the inHABITed. They see him as a "smiling man".
- Nick was "raped" by 'HABIT' to have him created. OHIEVAN ("His mother called him HABIT." - now I get what that is about)!!
- I still think HABIT is, sort of, the devil, and Slendy is, sort of, an angel - but HABIT is unaware of the connection.

Considering the Bioshock-references - could it be they have a little sister/big daddy relationship?

Doubtful.
Little Sisters aren't even aware of what they're doing. They see everything around them as a beautiful paradise.
Big Daddies are pretty much mindless zombies running on a program, and know nothing but "HURR DURR PROTECT".
With the exception of the Alpha Series prototypes. At least two of them have regained sentience and are protagonists (Delta and Sigma).
The rest went insane after losing their Little Sisters and pretty much attack everything that moves.

Now, should I contact Noah or not?

Well, maybe HABIT does see the world as "his" paradise - he's smiling after all. Laughing

Slendy seems to care only about the kids... like, he's standing in a room full of blood and gore, and he's just... there, easing people's pain.

Well, He cares about taking the kids at least.

He probably just does the Morphine Stare so that HABIT can have his fun without having to worry about pesky inconveniences like his experiments dying or passing out on him. A little reward for a job well done.

I don't think that HABIT and Slenderman are able to communicate, honestly. I think HABIT thinks of himself bigger than he is.

Well, you can try, for what it's worth... although I doubt Noah will figure into all this more...

Anyways - what I wanted to make clear is that Slenderman seems to protect kids from evil. HABIT thinks Slenderman is dependent on him to have him deliver some kids after he killed their families. But what if the tall guy appears wherever HABIT goes... just to safe the kids?? He did protect Vince from the priest, why not protect the kids from HABIT - which would conclude in HABIT thinking he'd be important to the tall guy, while actually he's just trying to do his best to make HABIT's work harder...

Sorry if this has been discussed before (the page count on this thread has jumped significantly) but is there anything to suggest that Steph isn't the one who's inHABIT'd? Obviously the tie between Evan and Habit is really clear, but I"m really wondering where Steph fits into all of this.

We haven't heard from her or seen her in a long time, but these posts are all coming from her blog...they're obviously first person accounts, but are they real or fictionalized? If they're real, where are they coming from? Is the person writing them possessed, or is Habit uploading them directly? Obviously Evan has access to her computer, but considering Occam's razor, wouldn't Steph be the one uploading these?

Habit has given us info before without using CYSTW (like the minecraft stuff) and there are many ways for information to be presented to us Hybrids, so the fact that all of this is coming from Steph's blog seems important to me. We know Evan is staying with her and that he's been keeping an eye on her blog since the early days, but we haven't heard anything from her in a while and I'm curious if there's a reason for that.

Again, sorry if this has been discussed to death and I'm just rehashing.

As for the Steph thing, I think something's up but I'm not sure what. Has anyone asked about Steph in emails since the May & June video came out?
