For some reason DandA it's impossible to find for some people. You're best off going to the EMH wiki and getting a direct link on its page there.

"You killed my father. Prepare to die."

"No I didn't. I just licked his blood off my hands. No big."

*Epic fight*

In all seriousness, was I the only one who thought the family "diaries" HABIT kept posting these last few weeks were from a long time back. Like years or so back. Now, I guess I'm not so sure, but I just assumed this was what he did before he turned to the Hybrids in all honesty.

Well, the one by the young girl was from 1957, but John and Nick typed their posts up themselves.

Hmm...a girl around in '57 could be old enough to have a toddler by the early 70's

And John references a song that came out about 10 years ago, although it could have been anywhere since then and the day he posted it

And Nick being a deer...or half deer half HABIT... idk I can't stop picturing falloutboy

My RSS feed just popped up with 5 new Can You See The Words posts... I was all excited... until I realized that this is whoever bought the domain name replacing things.

For the record Can You See The Words now seems to be some sort of... Online Dictionary?

Even stranger than that--it appears to be just an article about how useful an online dictionary might be, and an offer to sell the domain name on another page.

Even more odd, it looks like the article about the usefulness of online dictionaries was translated from a non-English language or written by a non-fluent non-native speaker, with one sentence in particular giving the game away:

Quote:
As our youngsters arrive residence from school with tons of textbooks as well as much more homework, we want to aid make their finding out method as practical as you can.

It seems pretty clear that "residence" and "aid" were mistranslations for "home" and "help". How bizarre.

When it comes to EMH, even the OOG happenstances are highly weird.

Hello, UF. Haven't posted here in awhile. I was going through Canyouseethewords (putting together a list of "important posts" for the wiki) and found a reference to a book called Siddhartha. Since House of Leaves and Plae Fire were already name-dropped and turned out to be kinda important, I was wondering if anyone here had read it.

Guessing the online dictionary is a sham to throw huge wordlists up for search engine indexing. Could be used a few ways from there for spamming SEO or maybe just virus distribution. That way though, it has a pseudo-purpose to keep the hoster from catching on and pulling it. Nice to see you again Sky!

It's a novel by Herman Hesse, recounting the life of the Buddha from a humanist, character-driven perspective. It's one of my favorites. The moment that strikes me about the novel, in relation to EMH, is a moment in the book where Siddhartha (who, for those of you who have somehow never been exposed to rudimentary Buddhist history, becomes the Buddha) meets a future version of himself. Siddhartha meets the Buddha and listens to him speak, which later inspires him to... become... the Buddha... so, yeah.
