 		Kinda related...just got back home from Comic Con. Apparently QMx has/had a big part in the Rocket Poppeteers promo. Don't know exactly what, but that's what they said.

Thanks for posting the pic for me punxtr... I was too busy running around trying to stalk meet anyone related to LOST. Giacchino is such a cool dude, btw.



The guy at the booth wouldn't/couldn't tell me any prices or any specific date when they will be available, he only said the cube should be on sale in 2 to 3 months.

I asked if he could give me any details regarding the alien or ship that QMx tweeted about. Now please bear in mind I haven't seen the film yet (I simply didn't have any spare time while I was in SD...only 4 more f***ing days UK peeps!). He said the alien would be approx 20" tall and that the prototype wasn't ready to be shown yet but they would be on sale after the cube. I then asked would the ship be available at that point. He said they probably wouldn't go on sale together but more than likely that all products will be staggered over a few months.

here's some more pics, I think the crate is a nice touch as packaging.

That looks so cool! I was a fan of the movie and I always try to purchase anything neat (such as this) that is related to movies that I like. I have the Cloverfield figurine and would like this floating Super 8 cube too. Is there any possibility of this being packaged with the movie as some sort of special edition? If so, would I be able to get it at a retail store such as LINK REMOVED? This is a great item from such a great item from a great movie!
