I would definitely agree with this. A sort of 'protect to use' thing came to mind when that came up.

Why is this important? Because it seems to me extremely likely that there was A THIRD MEMBER OF TOTHEARK present at this entry--he/she was simply standing or sitting behind that camera during the final sequence.

This. You clearly hear the sound of running just before Alex is tackled, and if Tim had been the one to limp-hobble his way into a sneak attack, then why did he have to limp-hobble his way back into frame just a moment later? Unfortunately, the lack of sound in this portion makes it impossible to determine the presence of another, unseen Masked individual fleeing the scene...

Are...are you serious? While I fully believe Skully is a mask, we have had NO clear images of anything besides the mask itself.

Where did the lips and eyebrows come from???

Seriously, though, I did just think of something, based on my observance of the video that I don't think I saw anyone bring up yet, (and I've been doing my best to keep up on this fast-moving thread as it grows).

I remember back when I was in lurking mode seeing a some people theorize that the masks possibly served as a sort of protection from TO. This entry appears to blow that theory out of the water. Despite having their faces covered, TiMasky and Woodsy/ToTheBark made a run for it after the distortion symbolizing TO's appearance showed up. Maybe their human fear of TO is more potent than they're aware, but I'm willing to bet that the masks serve little purpose besides concealing identities. The only hole in that idea, though, is that we're already well aware that it's Tim behind the Gothy McKissyFace mask, yet he continues to wear it. I'm drawing a blank on the possible reason behind that at the moment.

Yeah, its been mentioned, but something to note is that its a dead on image of Slendy from the confrontation in 40, and the distortion at the start of 41, so its the 3rd time we've seen that clip of Slendy, not sure if it means something though.

Old habits die hard? Maybe he wants to keep his identity from TO, or Jessica, or anyone else.

I don't think TO can travel through cameras, as some speculated since entry #26, because every time Alex was seen on camera after that he wasn't too worried about being shown. So I don't think the camera or the faces would have anything to do with his finding them.

Tim is Timasky, we know that.

Basky is from 41.

Woodsy is now from 45. Could be Basky. I don't like that he doesn't have the same mask if this is the case.

Skully could be Amy, Timasky is known, but now the problem is, other than Jessica or Jay, there is no one slender enough to be Woodsy besides Jessica and Jay, and I don't think they are yet involved, even during their blackouts.

Most likely is that Tim has developed a split personality that his mask embodies. To Timasky, that's not a mask, it's his face. This would be supported by the fact that he still seems capable of acting rationally--he had already become Masky when Jay interviews him in an early entry, but he still acts like Tim. As well, insane people still to buy need food. I'm willing to bet that "Tim" is active very rarely, and during those times he doesn't wear the Mask, and for the rest of the time he does.
