I guess they weren't expecting the biohazard.
You should send Alex an email about that. I bet you he won't be happy...

LOL! I guess they didn't supply very much temporary memory for use during reboots! XD
Although, in all seriousness, that means that we won't know the full severity of what happened until the reboot finishes... Which is bad.

I had already been emailing Alex and he asked for a full log of everything since he couldn't access the website.
Also this was his response to LAINSY being waterproof:
Quote:
Oh, and NO, LAINSY isn't waterproof... and if it's mainframes are indeed underwater, then that's BIG trouble.
Also I told him his PR people are going to be in a whole load of trouble.
6 minutes until reboot.

In Colorado? That was less than expected. I thought the other facilities would be fine? Maybe that facility's backup was faulty too? D:
EDIT: Or the underwater mainframes is the problem.

I'd also been providing updates. And I asked Alex if he was sure he and Genus knew what they were doing. His response:
Quote:
Of course we do. That reactor control was probably unplugged longer that I though....
Edit - got another message from Alex:

I guess I need to really get moving now... I'll contact you when I get to the Antarctica Facility. Colorado should be fine, they have their hazmat team there. Plus, they can't get locked out because LAINSY is not online, so they should be able to work on it on their own. Antarctica Facility however is otherwise.

I think we made Alex depressed (I would be too if I asked for this to happen)

I know... I should have made planned this a little more. I just wonder how the hell was the reactor control on the Antarctica Facility unplugged?!
Bootup is starting ealier than expected:

I guess with Alex shutting up for a bit and the logs full, the waiting game has become real now.

Well this is a problem. The bootup is waiting on the Antarctic facility. We all know that went and got fried early on.

Okay now that LAINSY is almost done rebooting, I've kept the fun fireworks-like error sequence and saved it in a text file in case we want to remember the fun.
The current status on the site is:
Code:
=== REBOOT SEQUENCE INITIATED ===
REBOOT TRIGGERED BY : EXTERNAL USER via EMAIL COMMAND
REBOOT STARTED ON : 20:54:29 -05:00 GMT
CONTACTING FACILITY MAINFRAME BOOT SYSTEM . . .
COLORADO: CONNECTED! Waiting for others
ALBERTA: CONNECTED! Waiting for others
FAR EASTERN: CONNECTED! Waiting for others
ANTARCTICA: TIMED OUT (1) : RETRYING
FRANCE: CONNECTED! Waiting for others

He's been notified that the biohazard is released and possibly active, right? I'd hate to lose one of our contacts in this. D:

"ANTARCTICA: WAITING" has become: "ANTARCTICA: TIMED OUT (2) : RETRYING"
Along with a repeat of the "underwater" message.
EDIT: 2 is now 3 If it keeps climbing I'm not gonna bother to keep editing. Just FYI.
