Hey guys, just writing to add to the confirmation there is action going on with WRB/Real Steel.

I've seen several different posters and they're giving out oversized Noisy Boy bags. Things are happening across the pedestrian bridge.

The oversized bags are super cool. I didn't manage to personally snag any swag, but I'm going to check out that side of the convention tomorrow. I'll report back with my findings.

The WRB is set up just outside the Con, giving away WRB-themed t-shirts, wristbands, bags, robot action figures, and the occasional HP touchpad. They've got a few of the 'bots from the movie there too, and have a booth set up to play the game on WRB.com. When I played, they gave me a WRB usb stick with an exclusive uploadable character for the game! I've got plenty of pics, which I'll try to get up in the next day or two Smile

Just confirming the previous post. They're set up over by the South Park experience with lifesize replicas of Noisy Boy and another bot. Sweatbands and posters seem to be perpetual giveaways (the posters are the Japanese Noisy Boy ones that a lot of people have already gotten) while the "big stuff" (t-shirts and bags and I guess action figures etc) is every hour on the hour.

I grabbed one of the USB drives after namedropping the ARG. Again for San Diegoans, you don't have to have a con badge to grab the stuff--just head over there and get in on it.

Finally beat training mode. I put in around 5 hours on mixed training until I could finally beat it. It only took that long because of the crap with the orbs. You need 40 to pass but the game only gives you 37, that whole thing.

On the plus side, I am more than ready to fight now with all that extra training.

Still can't get the perfect Dodging achievement, even though I've done the 1st level perfectly a dozen times or more.

Hopefully the glitches will be ironed out before we are in real combat. Especially if we can fight for pink slips. Very Happy

BTW:
If anyone snags an extra poster at SDCC, I never got the first one, I'd gladly pay shipping plus throw you some other swag or whatever.

Caught a shirt during one of the giveaways!

...It's an XL and I'm just shy of 100lbs. So if anyone wants to trade me, please let me know. I'd love a Small or a Medium since they're so cool.

They were passing out the USB drives today like candy, too. Today was WRB's last day at SDCC--so they won't be there tomorrow.

I just realized they were handing out two different posters--the Noisy Boy one that I ASSUME says Real Steel on the back (previously photographed during the Hugh Jackman signing thing) and the Japanese Noisy Boy posters.

I snagged a few extra jump drives (the Icefly girl I was trying to wheedle information out of on Friday was handing out jump drives for Real Steel on Sunday--confirming a 42E connection if there were any doubts) that I'd be willing to trade.

I picked up a couple of posters, a couple of wristbands, and one extra of the giant oversized bags. These things are monsterous. Im not sure who would be intersted in any of these. Id like to trade the bag if possible. Ive been looking for a flynn lives tshirt (xl) preferably not worn or a space paranoids and 89 forever pin. pm me if interested. Ill prolly just give the other stuff away. ill let yall know.

very disappoined in the whole WRB presence. Not much going on at all.
