I don't think I've been able to follow the chatter in this thread since last year sometime. XD Do keep going though, by throwing all these ideas out, we're bound to get SOMETHING right.

I still suspect that Slendy purposefully left that scrap there for some reason. No idea why, but I'm just not buying the idea of the mysterious eldritch entity tearing his suit on a bush. :/

I was sort of guessing that for one reason or another, Slendy was more vulnerable at that time than he is now. I also think it's odd that Slendy may actually have gotten caught onto something, but I think it's less odd to assume that he is a "growing" entity.

I can't imagine why he'd leave a scrap of himself behind like that. Of course it occurs to me that Slendy may not in fact be one with the iconic suit. It could be a mundane suit that has grown...odd in the slenderpresence, which, okay, is a bit unlikely. I can't imagine him going to the tailor. Another option is that he formed the suit as a shell around himself and that it was originally made from earthly matter. That would explain why it can be torn (it's still cloth, of a sort) and why it emits sigma-rays[1].

@re: sigma-rays, Slenderadiation

What on earth is that? Is it even a part of the EM spectrum? Is it what causes the camera problems? As a science nerd by vocation and avocation I am dying[2] to track Slendy down and run tests.

I guess it could work.
[1] I'm no physicist, but the device they were using in the lab report seems odd. What do you think that was? Is it important, or is it just window dressing?
[2] And if I tried, I would be in fact dying, I expect.

So Evan's knifin and the car thing show he can't be hit. Except what is his little power stuffs worked because he consciously wanted them too. As in if he wasn't paying attention to something, something insignificant enough, like a little twig, it could catch on him.

yeah, the significance of the suit scrap is huge. is it a possible way to hurt the slendors or just backstory to explain the device found in the storage locker and how it came to be? i kinda feel like it is just plot development around the device and a possible lead with the assistant in FL for now but the how/why of the thorns is very intriguing stuffs.

Maybe it's a particular weakness, like how Loki was able to kill Baldir with an arrow made of a Holly branch, or fairies are weak around iron.

Or maybe... he just wears a suit. Plain ol'regular cloth. It's sort of a perfect form of camouflage. The supernatural equivalent of a gilly suit.

I asked Noah to go find out but he just called us all strange.

Feels bad man.

A man being stalked by a supernatural entity with brainwashing effects has called us all weird.

I'm abit startled by this.

anyway...maybe its not that slendy is super powerfuly around the BOYS...by maybe its because its hes on CAMERA? All the slenderstalked have a constant urge to video tape everything. maybe this is why he needs habit to get those other family's kids. because they werent TAPING HIM. so, he didnt have the power to attack them personaly. this could explain his give and take relationship with habit and why a bush could cause damage. The camera is whats empowering him. its in a way, anchor him to this reality perhaps. or making him "real"

Perhaps he can only be damaged by things of nature? Thorns, trees, water, fire...

So the boys just need to get their hands on a flamethrower and they're good.

I have a feeling a firetruck hose would be much more efficient. Though seeing the boys incorporate some freakish combination of the two would be quite a show.

But Slendy sets things ON fire, and likes to hang around the woods.
And according to Steph, he likes floods too.

It's probably just that one kind of thorn bush that can hurt him for whatever reason, or maybe that one specific thorn bush. Maybe Santa used it to take a piss one year when he was in the area delivering gifts or something.

EDIT: Did we ever get a response from the boys about them playing through DUBIOUS?

Nope. And nothing about Nick either.

I guess neither are important. Which is a shame since there was so much excitement surrounding both. :\

Maybe they're just busy with OOG stuff.
Still sleeping off the Medieval Times feast or something.
Maybe their group ran into a big group of proxies who challenged them to a turkey leg eating contest.

I assume they have giant turkey legs at Medieval Times because every time the medieval era or a renaissance fair is shown on TV they always have giant turkey legs.
