Troy had to use a stand-in for the first appearance of Hoody. It does nothing to compare the body types.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
We don't know that 100%. All we know is that Tim had to replace Joseph, my guess is on directorial duties.

Why is Tim still wearing the mask if Alex knows who he is? Shocked

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Yes but comparing the body types won't do a thing seeing as Tim's body wasn't suppose to be the true figure of Hoody... since obviously that figure belongs to Masky.

And how do you know it wasn't Troy himself wearing the hoodie? Fucks sake.

Putting OOG considerations aside, applying body types to the first appearance of the Gimp is a losing game because we only see a fraction of their body in the first place - and that's at an odd angle, and they're wearing baggy clothes on top of that. Their body shape could hardly be more obscured.

Here's something new. At 1:10 it looks like Hoody takes something out of his pocket and puts it to his ear as he starts to run.

It would be interesting if we got to hear the voice of whoever is behind the costume in this entry. What would be more interesting would be to hear what he would be saying if that was a phone.

"Get ready, he's following me"

Oh god. I might need to get totheark myself, im creating a deluge in my anticipation Wink

Newbie here. Have been following for probably a month or two. De-lurking because I didn't see anyone else mention this.

I was discussing # 45 with a friend of mine, and he mentioned that the voice singing "happy birthday" in enttry 37 matches up with Alex's voice when he starts yelling in 45. (BTW I SHAT BRICKS when his voice did that. Shocked)

I checked it. It does sound the same.

Tiny detail, but might be something previously overlooked here.

I think I'm onto something with that. TheKVD pointed out to me something from TTA's "Warning" video. About halfway through, the phrase "Smile for the camera" is shown on the screen, and the very end of the video says "Smile for DeAtH". I think this is a cause-and-effect scenario, meaning "You show your face on camera, you mark yourself for death".

This is why TiMasky and Hoodie cover their faces - they're still not marked. That's also why Tim resisted being unmasked SO MUCH - he knew he was on camera. I think he's OK though, because his whole face wasn't shown.

I have further theories on this, but they're completely baseless, so I'll leave it there.

EDIT: Corrected my choice of words.

Part of the reason I think Tim wears his mask is that it's more of a symbol. He's trying to get revenge on Alex who demasked him and then used ROCK SMASH. Of course he would wear the mask. Also it could be that it's just who Tim is now. He's probably associated the mask with his identity. And then of course it's just easier to have the mask be an identifier and it would look kind of lame to me if Tim was choking Alex as opposed to Masky.

Tim has been on camera, albeit in the beginnings of production.

and the scene on the veranda or whatever that was, where alex was being a total dick, and when they where rehearsing without brian.

anyway, the point is that Tim has some reason to not want his face on camera, the only thing we know is that it's not to hide his identity anymore.

And that, thanks. Although the showing your face on camera leading you to be marked intrigued me at first, it's just not very well supported.

Which leads me to think you might have to be the one *operating* the camera in order to be marked. Jay and Alex have both filmed themselves, faces showing, faces not showing, etc. I've never seen Tim use a camera, unless it's Masky, so then he's obviously masked.

The only thing that doesn't click with this is his refusal to be unmasked in later entries. And this is all just speculation.

Oh, I know Tim's face has been on camera, but I think that fits for any number of reasons. That could explain why he's basically crazy - it was starting to get to him, but this way it won't get worse, or that's why he had so much slendy sickness before, but it's going away now... It could also be a timing thing, too. Now that he's aware of Slendy, he doesn't want/can't have his face recorded(That last one probably doesn't fit with Entry 15, though).

OOG: This is my first post here, and I haven't gotten through all 39 pages, so hopefully I'm not repeating this concept, but considering the possibility that there are three people in on the Alex attack, can we not suppose that if Troy & co were in need of a body double, that double could have stood in for the supposed third person (the one who actually jumps Alex/is behind the camera), versus our hooded friend? Jusss sayin.

The "third person" who jumped Alex from behind was almost certainly Tim.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That's probably exactly what happened in 41. Troy was in the costume, and Tim ran camera for him. Actually, that makes a whole lot of sense as to why Troy said he got Tim to help him because Joseph was busy. Usually Joseph rolls camera for Jay scenes.

And? That doesn't really matter when you're arguing that the two body types are different due to Troy specifically saying he used a stand in earlier and now that we have another Hoody suspect, it has a different body type. Don't be rude.

>Tim's Mask
I think I like the "hide from the camera to avoid being marked" sort of deal, I suppose, but I don't know. Maybe Tim just really likes his mask. Why give up his trademark look? They are abusing someone, after all. He's covering his identity in case some random person happens to be in the woods, stalking about since either they didn't think for some reason that the Operator would show up or they knew they had limited time with Alex. Which makes me think:

A.) Why bring Alex into the forest at all? I guess it's not Rosswood Park they lead him to... At least, I don't think so. But if it was, that would be incredibly stupid of them. Rosswood Park is a big focus point of the Operator... But I guess Hoody strolled through the woods leisurely before when he knew the Operator was there, currently busy with poor Jay...

B.) They knew that the Operator would come and they were leaving Alex as a sacrifice? Maybe they didn't know what Alex was up to. Maybe they thought to throw the Operator off their trail--and to extract some revenge--they would sacrifice him to the Operator and see if their luck turns.
