Q: Who is the enemy?
A: The Covenant

Quick poll: Is this suspicious enough for undue Secret Service attention? Not like it'll stop me, but still.

Update from the field

Sorry to intrude, but I don't know which threads people are reading.

Melissa asked someone in the field to relay this information to the rest of the crew:

1. There will be a reward for the picture with the most rank and file crew members in it.
2. All that the rank-and-file pictures require is salutes at a payphone.
3. Melissa wants to bring Dana into the fold. She said that Dana would respond well to kindness.

Thanks muchly, Phaedra. Although we aren't quite content with simple rank-and-file positions. Wink

Updated the previous axon-listing post. Rather disappointed at not getting the MU axons, for they would have gotten up one of the two remaining un-uploaded audio files. It's partially my fault for not telling Ens GBrian where the damn phones were, but oh well. They're up tomorrow. Everything else is good.

Also. Watch CNN & MSNBC tomorrow. They're broadcasting live from ASU's campus because of the third/final presidential debate. Who knows - you may just see a few beekeepers in those live shots... not that I know anything about it... Wink

BEEKEEPERS AHOY!

Photoshopping an ASU beekeeper logo? A few hours.
Printing said logo onto 5 sheets by 7 sheets of paper, and taping it together? A few more hours.

Getting on CNN? Priceless.

(The upper right hand of the left cutaway.)

Yes, I know my picture isn't of the best quality. He's got a tape in, so he'll probably get out some better pictures in a while.

It goes without saying that ASU folk kick ass, right? That...was... AWESOME. Worshippy

By my reckoning, this was the only bright point of the debate. If you manage to get a more complete shot, you have *got* to send it to Melissa.

Oh, we do. We have a few much better shots, but someone else has the pictures right now. I'll post them as I get them.

And if anyone taped Larry King Live last night, we were on there a lot, but we didn't tape it - we only have a few stills. If anyone taped it, could they send us screenshots or something? PM me if you can.

More to come!

I hope Melissa accepts these when we send them in.

Wow! Awesome guys, from a proud ASU alum. I'd be out there, if only it wasn't for this dang job. That huge one behind the CNN guys is just amazing. It makes me bummed that I watched MSNBC.

There was plenty of stuff on MSNBC, but only on the "After Hours" program after 9 PM PST. They didn't repeat it at 2 AM like they were supposed to, either, so that was a disappointment. My family has the show on tape, though, so I'm hoping they can send me a couple screenshots.

Here's the poster pre-deployment:

If this doesn't get us back on Boing Boing... I don't know what will.

I'm laughing so hard! Much better than teasing the Secret Service guys!

How many bowing / rocking emoticons are allowed???

We are not worthy. You rock.

I know it is bad form to fill a page with emoticons, but you totally deserve it. So imagine that this page is filled with the following:

Worshippy Rock On ^bazillion

Thanks, you guys. The Myriad Wise Men have struck again. We're gonna have fun with this...

I might have better shots of the MSNBC stuff tonight, in which I think you can actually see Brian and me. I'm also doing a personal blog post that I'll make public later.

The sad thing was, between the shouts of:

"Four more years!"
and
"Three more weeks!"

we couldn't really get any support for

"I love bees!"
