 		A short description.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"The mother road" is part of it, but in the end, the grid only gives you the next step towards picking up the answer. It's a clue. And really one that someone who watches movies set around or regarding the twilight of Route 66 (Cars and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? spring to mind) should get without too much effort.

 		That last clue did it. The mapping looks more like GG to me now that I can see the solution. :p

So, "The Mother Road Killer". Wikipedia tells me Route 66 is also Will Rogers Highway, so I figured someone killed Will Rogers, but it was an accident.

I'm way far off the answer, right? Razz

Not as far off as you might think. You are looking, indeed, for the killer of "the Mother Road". Look at my previous clue again with that in mind.

Ok, I got it. Just by chance though. I was looking for
