You know, it could just be that "It's not what you think" is Bungie/Microsoft/PM's telling us that this isn't part of our game, and that we should leave it alone.

But as long as we have extra people, I don't see why it shouldn't be investigated.

Tomorrow will reveal all.

No, I believe you're seeing things... your mind wants you to see an image...

I agree with thebruce, and I just got done looking at the image stereoscopically for about ten minutes just to be sure. With random noise, you will always see a couple of 3d bumps here or clumps there. It's just from statistical probability that enough dark clumps will line up when the images shift in your brain.

Ireland is spelled just fine, I think that's a typo on Mxico, and Canada is spelled correctly twice.

Too much effort for not nearly enough result?

Ireland is spelled correctly but the link is not correct.

Canada is spelled correctly, but franais is not (francais). Mxico is missing the e (Mexico), and sterreich is missing the O (Osterreich). Could be all typos, but if so they really need to fire the webmaster or get him a dictionary.

The missing letters are accented characters, AFAIK. For whatever reason, your browser is probably just not displaying them correctly.

True, could be, does yours display them?

Nope, they don't show up on mine either, Firefox or IE. So I'll admit I'm not entirely sure WHY they're not being displayed but my vote is that it's related to the use of special characters and, therefore, not important.

Good, I'm not crazy. I've been staring at that darn fool thing for a while. I half expected a coworker to come by, look at it and say "It's a sailboat!"

here's what i came up with. manually changed each shade of the snow to transparent. only changed colors with equal rgb values (ie, R=17, G=17, B=17) to make sure i was removing pure shades of black/gray.

I would include the actual changed picture, but if i open it up again, the snow comes back....this is a screen shot of the pic in my photo editor. the gray+white boxes are put in as default by the editor because of the transparency. image zoomed at 100% makes the boxes line up perfectly. the boxes are *yellow, not orange.....after that, i don't see anything of use here...maybe someone else can?

EDIT: only microsoft photo editor picks up those boxes as green. everything else picks them up as yellow.

I don't know if this was an accident by developers or on purpose (who knows in this game anymore) but the word test is hidden in the page right after the .swf (highlight the page)

For some reason all these pics of the little dots remind me of planet orbits. Maybe, its tyring to tells up they've set up base on a planet and are going to attack from there.
But thats just wild speculation.

Thought I would drop this here as well, since this is where people are actually working on the puzzle instead of just commenting on it. There's new imagery up at Halo2.com:

I haven't had a good look at the wallpaper symbols yet, but I'm assuming that these are the same type.
