maybe Jay added the Slendy, and this is the begininng of us realising a lot of this has been him doing... something for some reason..

or Alex added slendy because he didnt want Jay to see what the masks really ran from...

I'm pretty sure it's just proof that the Operator transcends time and space.

Or (activating wild-speculation mode) Jay and Alex are linked somehow, and the Operator's Slendy-radiation caused Jay's memory to jump through Alex like a conduit, then transfer onto the tape in Alex's moment of rage.

It would make sense if Alex somehow had Jay's camera... the Operator could have drawn out that image or whatnot. Or the video would have been corrupted and skipped around to that point or something...

But a different camera having the same clip from the other camera?

Here's a possibility for Jay's Operator encounter showing up on Alex's camera.

Assumptions:
1. Camera distortion may be related to mental activity. I had speculated on this before, and I don't think it's a bad idea. When Jessica's thoughts wandered toward the Operator, distortion was picked up on the camera. Masky causes tons of distortion. I'm not 100% sure about this, but it does match up with a lot of distortion in the series.
2. Alex saw Jay's Operator encounter tape. Jay was freaked out about it, and Alex is looking for clues about Amy's location. Alex also seemed interested in knowing who returned Jay's camera. Considering he had the opportunity to watch the footage, I would have a hard time believing he hasn't watched it yet.

Theory:
While watching Jay's tape, Alex saw Hoody only a few minutes after seeing Jay's Operator encounter. That encounter and Hoody's appearance are probably well linked in Alex's mind. Seeing Hoody in person for the first time brought back that strong memory of the Operator from Jay's tape. That strong memory flashed onto Alex's camera as distortion.

Edit: This is silly, but the shot of the Operator might be backwards because the image is coming from Alex, who is on the other side of the camera.

This is most likely just over speculation on my part but I feel like there's something else hidden in the spot the camera keeps going towards around 3:03 (the branches kind of look like letters to me for one thing) but once again this is most likely just me being silly
